I just pulled a zombie Kush run down. My room wasn’t sealed but I had plenty of airflow. Outside the room the basement flooded and had a musty smell. The plants grew great and look fantastic. I’m not a novice grower and kept a close eye out for mold and saw no signs at all. I pulled the weed down and brought it upstairs to dry in a wooden wardrobe with a small fan. It hung mostly trimmed on stalks for 10 days. Then I took the buds off the stalk to finish curing in paper bags. It’s been about 5 days and they are almost completely done. I took them out and started to manicure when I noticed a slightly musty smell on them. I’m not sure if it just absorbed some of the odor from the room or not but the smell is there.I cut one up and cutting into it it smells sweet and strong and I don’t notice anything in the flavor. Is there anyway to get that slightly dank smell gone?

Some strains have a musky smell, but it shouldn't smell exactly like the room it was in.
Thanks it’s just really bumming me out. Spending this week sealing the room and scrubbing the basement

10 days after a wet trim? What’s the rh in the hanging room? That’s crazy long for wet trimmed product imo I’m guessing humidity was over 65?

Agreed! I always wet trim and they dry no more than a week. Usually the popcorn is done after 4 or 5 days colas take an extra day or 2. I wanna try a dry trim but I've read it's a pain in the ass. Better end result I assume?
