Its like watching Putin lining up the American electorate for some crazy trick shot in pool.
Maybe people are tired of having the lesser of two corporatist evils shoved down their throats. Has that ever occured to you?
See my post above and respond with actual evidence. Enough of the stupid memes- unless that's all you've got.Its like watching Putin lining up the American electorate for some crazy trick shot in pool.
Clinton 'triangulated' Americans into NAFTA, the 1996 omnibus crime legislation and ended welfare without replacing it. He made a pretty good Republican, didn't he?
NAFTA has been destroying America's manufacturing base since it was enacted, or have you failed to notice all those Mexican factories that used to be in America?"The Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1993 is also called the Deficit Reduction Act. It was President Clinton's first budget. It raised the top income tax rate from 28 percent to 36 percent for those earning more than $115,000. It raised the top rate to 39.6 percent for incomes above $250,000.
OBRA 1993 increased the corporate income tax from 34 percent to 36 percent for corporations with incomes over $10 million. It also ended some corporate subsidies.
It taxed Social Security benefits for high income earners and created the earned income tax credit for incomes under $30,000."
So you are calling him a republican for increasing the taxes on the wealthiest people and later used it to balance the budget?
NAFTA was a huge benefit to the American people, but no matter what is shown you'll just disagree...
And ended welfare? lmao, are you for real, like nobody gets anything anymore, period? It is hard sometimes not to troll.
How do you ignore the fact that you have forced your girlfriend to have unpleasant and hazardous sex with strangers and then taken most of the money in light of the fact that you find it reprehensible that the owner of a business would move their factory to Mexico which, though it would move jobs away from America, also resulted in a higher standard of living for Mexican workers and less expensive products for Americans?NAFTA has been destroying America's manufacturing base since it was enacted, or have you failed to notice all those Mexican factories that used to be in America?
Yes, Clinton did raise some taxes and that's cool. Indeed he was the last American President to balance the budget and leave office with a surplus. I didn't say he was all bad- but none of what you cited excuses the stuff I pointed out.
Trolling is for children. It's nice to see a grown up post here. Kinda rare anymore.
yes, @ttystikk is a hypocrite.How do you ignore the fact that you have forced your girlfriend to have unpleasant and hazardous sex with strangers and then taken most of the money in light of the fact that you find it reprehensible that the owner of a business would move their factory to Mexico which, though it would move jobs away from America, also resulted in a higher standard of living for Mexican workers and less expensive products for Americans?
Of the worst kind. If the Republicans had allowed better domestic policies, NAFTA would have been a boon to the American economy and the economies of our partners in production. It was not, in and of itself, bad policy. Trying to prohibit the growth of multi-national production streams is both ridiculously impractical and pareto-optimal. Maybe he should have studied David Ricardo after he finished his "extensive" study of Adam Smith.yes, @ttystikk is a hypocrite.
Uh huh. You have one ORW and a couple Trumpers that occasionally support you. You spew propaganda from where ever the fuck as long as it supports your beliefs and then won't back it up. And then you accuse others of a circle-jerk.
Oh I’m sure he’s lurking ready to pounce in with his highly intelligent repliesUh huh. You have one ORW and a couple Trumpers that occasionally support you. Damn, you the funniest pimp ever. Please don't run away like that pussy, @Padawanbater2
NAFTA gets a bad rap, manufacturing jobs were being propped up, the money we saved on items as a whole in this country offsets the losses of income in those jobs, and there were still more jobs that were created than lost by NAFTA. We do a bad job at making sure displaced workers don't get shafted, we should make sure these people don't fall between the cracks, but overall, but that has been going on for all human history. Overall NAFTA was good for our country, and our continent.NAFTA has been destroying America's manufacturing base since it was enacted, or have you failed to notice all those Mexican factories that used to be in America?

The jobs went to Mexico and then China. NAFTA was the greatest way to break up unions ever devised. Clearly you're cool with that.NAFTA gets a bad rap, manufacturing jobs were being propped up, the money we saved on items as a whole in this country offsets the losses of income in those jobs, and there were still more jobs that were created than lost by NAFTA. NAFTA exports created 5 million net new U.S. jobs. Most of those jobs went to 17 states, but all states saw some increases. U.S. manufacturers added more than 800,000 jobs between 1993 and 1997. Manufacturers exported $487 billion in 2014. It generated $40,000 in export revenue for each factory worker.
Even imports from NAFTA partners created jobs. Almost 40% of U.S. imports from Mexico originated with American companies. They designed the products domestically, then outsourced some portion of the process in Mexico. Without NAFTA, they would have gone to China. They may not have been created at all.
Isn’t that exactly what your going to do re vote republican if Sanders doesn’t win the nomination? If forced to choose between the the two evils you’ll choose the most evil correct? The only reason is butthurt that I can see, does nothing to help your country. Why Trump over anyone but Bernie, when you know it’s the worse choice.The jobs went to Mexico and then China. NAFTA was the greatest way to break up unions ever devised. Clearly you're cool with that.
Go vote Republican.
So I have to vote republican because of the fact that NAFTA has not only saved American consumers more money than the total income of the obsolete manufacturing jobs that were low skilled/replaceable by machines? I care about helping more people that the Wealthy White Male Only agenda worries about helping, so I will continue to vote Democrat.The jobs went to Mexico and then China. NAFTA was the greatest way to break up unions ever devised. Clearly you're cool with that.
Go vote Republican.
It's true that Sanders never worked with anybody to get any important thing done. Losing is a badge of honor to you useless white men.Here's why I'm not voting for Elizabeth Warren;

'More of the same' politics won't win and even if somehow it did, it won't work.
Well that and the fact that you are not allowed to vote.Here's why I'm not voting for Elizabeth Warren;
