Any suggestions for a good microscope for checking trichomes?

AndroidOS:
Camera App -> Settings -> Geo tags -> Disable
(or)
Camera App -> Settings (twice) -> Location Tag -> Off

iOS:
Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services -> Camera -> Never

And, what about being stupid makes using the Carson not work. I don't think I'm stupid, but I can't make it stay still enough, long enough to see enough. Do you have any suggestions?

I did just see Carson has a higher magnification version; a "microflip 100x 250. I'm thinking of purchasing it, but the one thing about it is holding it still enough with the higher magnification. I think it may be easier to fix my phone to get an app to use one of those digital scopes. Gotta fix it some day anyway .

Ya I would fix the phone and use a microscope. I love mine. You can use a computer too or laptop if you have one. Here's the one I got. And like Cricket said it's good for checking for bugs too.

This has an explanation of what EXIF is and one or two ways it can be removed. There's plenty of options but it's a start:

I personally prefer to 'take a picture of the picture'. And upload that, if I want to.

One easy way to capture your entire screen and automatically save the screenshot, is to tap the Windows key + Print Screen key. Your screen will briefly go dim to indicate that you've just taken a screenshot, and the screenshot will be saved to the Pictures > Screenshots folder.

There's a few other ways to do it as well, you can see some more ways here:

If none of that sinks in for you, the way to find another author on the subject would be to search:

Yup, it is, and we've had one heck of a time trying to see those trichomes! One plant to go, so we'll have to wait until next year, but guess I'm going to go downhill on the technology and get a jewelers loupe with a light. I guess 60x is best? whew. who knew it would be this hard. Then, as we were almost through, we saw some YouTube videos that said so many different things on amber...all the way from NO amber to 60%. I've gone with 30% for the most part, but now I don't know what to believe. Guess I'm going to have to spend the off-season learning a lot.....not to mention, I had the WORST crop I've ever had....all the way from bud rot on up. Very low yield.

~$90 on ebay for microscope C-mount camera body, banggood, aliexpress... $30 for the cheapo lens. (spend more if you want good images) $15 for the magnetic base. I need working distance for hot tools between then lens and work surface, but if you put the lens up close with proper lighting you can get much tighter closeups. This thing will take snapshots and 720p vid (.MOV) on the sd. 1080p realtime capture via hdmi. supposedly 16mbit sensor. I've also got an Andonstar USB microscope/endoscope/ It works well enough for inspecting trichomes and has leds built into its end so lighting isn't an issue. I have nothing but a 20x Belomo Jewlers Triplet for field use. A triplet (3 lenses) stays in focus from edge to edge, but it's just a high quality jewelers loop. Doublets are a thing too.
