I am in the same boat here in the Southern Willamette Valley. I had to chop our one fat budded plant today as the bud rot was really setting in. We are still going to get a fair amount from it. I tried a sample bud last night and got quite high.Well here in western WA I judge what time it is to harvest NOT by the color of the trichomes but by when bud rot starts to really set in.. LOL. Began chopping part of this plant down that is nearest to being done. Would have liked to let it go another week or two but the buds are pretty dense and super resinous, so they're not gonna last long outside in this weather
