In the next few weeks I am planning to start my first indoors auto grow. I am hoping to share it with everyone and help new growers like myself, as well as welcome feedback and help from more experienced growers.

Setup-

Yield Lab 4x4 grow tent
Growers Choice ROI-E680 LED light
3.5 gallon plastic pots
I'm going to grow in a 50/50 mix of Canna Coco and Roots Organic Green Lite soil. To this I am adding a super soil mix specifically made for autos that I found online. This will go on the bottom of the pots and a 50/50 mix without the super soil mix will be on the top of the pots.

I have a 4" carbon filter and an inline fan for air exchange.

I will run a few small fans for air flow inside the tent.

I am going to run well water ph'd with citric acid crystals down to between 6.3- 6.8 hopefully. I've never ph'd my water before.

My genetics...
I have a ton of seeds stored up to choose from. I am going to start 3 of the smallest strains week 1 and then as I have room I will start 2 more seeds every 2 weeks until I feel the tent is full enough.

Week 1 will be
1 Mephisto Strawberry Nuggets
1 Mephisto Sour Livers
1 Royal Queen Seeds Blue Cheese

Week 3 will be
1 Fastbuds Green Crack
1 Fastbuds Gorilla Glue

Week 5 will be
1 Royal Queen Seeds Bubble Kush
1 Fastbuds Rhino Ryder

We will see where we are at when week 7 rolls around. I have some Exotic Seeds Black Lemon, Fastbuds Mexican Airlines, Blackberry, smoothie and fastberry that are next on my want to try list.

Haven't grown with it yet but I am pretty impressed with this light so far.

I think I am going to do a grow journal on this grow also. But this thread will be used as an auto community grow thread and discussion for informative purposes.
I'm going to watch for sure. What supersoil mix are you going to be running if you don't mind sharing? I've sort of looked into beginner organic growing, but could never cook a soil in my apartment and i love my Royal Gold Tupar coco too much.

It is called nature's living soil and it is just a bag of amendments you add to the soil.... You could probably add it to Coco... They prefer you use a soil that's is light in nutrients or without nutrients. They do not mention anything about "cooking" the soil so we will see. This will be my first time using it.

Looks like a lighter versolion of "Kind Soil". Its a soil you put in bottom 3rd and use lite fert soil on top.

It's not soil... It is a bag of amendments you add to your own soil of choice... But yes you would then use that mix like a kind super soil. They have mixes that are like a "full strength" and then they have the one specifically made for autoflowers.

I know what it is. You start in top half of pot in light fed soil like roots organic/ffof and when it grows to bottom it is supercharged from the food that is in the bottom half. These are called supersoils though. They are just not able to have seedlings started in them cause to strong.

Yeah... I am thinking this should be an easy way to grow them. It is one of the suggested methods from Mephisto. They also use bio tabs which is something I would be interested in but for now this should do nicely.

I've never heard of this brand but some growers have used Kind Soil brand in Mephisto grows on AFN, and they got great results.

hey wil, do you have any pineapple express from fast buds? I have a five pack of the grape fruit, and a single green crack. I'm looking for a couple extra green crack seeds and some pineapple express.

I do not have their pineapple Express... I have the green crack and they were one of the strains I was thinking about trying to make my own seeds from.

i want to run my one green crack seed at the same time as you and also make a cross if it looks promising enough.

i probably should have asked you in the last thread. I think my seedlings are ok, a little stuck from all being transplanted. I dont mind if they stay small, i've got a lot going at once and i want to do the green crack with you in a few weeks. I have a pack of sour blues i'm hoping are still valid, the green crack i got not too long ago with a black berry that worked just fine so i'm less worried about messing that one up.

I might run the green Crack week 1 and swap it out with the blue cheese
