Coco PH to high. Help

First time using coco and my PH is way to high. 7 to 7.2 in some plants. I’m checking the runoff with a digital apera ph tester. Even though this is the case I see no issues with any leaves. The plants seem to be completely healthy and growing just fine. I’m using canna coco in 3 gallon fab pots. I’ve tried flushing and still the PH stays the same. Some pots it actually went up. I ran 4 gallons of water thru each 3gal pot. Water was ph’d to 5.5. Only thing I can think of is when I mixed the soil I added some crushed oyster shells to the mix and maybe that’s keeping the ph up. It’s close to time to flip them to flower but don’t want to do that until ph issues are fixed. Please dear baby Jesus help. Any suggestions are welcome and appreciated.

K well first of all don’t bother testing run off in coco as it’s not an accurate reading. Also as advised on the canna website, plain water whether it be ph’d or not should never come in contact with coco as it wreaks havoc with the buffer.
I use canna coco+ and once made the mistake of testing run off too. Just don’t. As long as u know what’s going in and u calibrate your pen regularly just stick with that. Let the leaves do the talking.

Then what's the problem? What are you trying to fix? Don't worry about the runoff pH just worry about the pH going in. Those healthy plants won't stay that way if you keep doing what you're doing trying to get the runoff pH into whatever range you think it needs to be.

I just assumed runoff was supposed to be checked and it tells you what’s going on in your medium or so I’ve read 1000 times in 1000 different threads. I’ve read other post where people say that they have PH issues in veg and the plants look fine but as soon as they flip to flower the issues show up. So the high ph had me stressing. I’m new to coco as this is my first coco grow ever so it’s going to be a learning curve. Thanks for the advice and I will continue to monitor the leaves and hopefully no issues pop up once I switch them into flower.

With no pics
I can never get pics to load on here. I’m not sure why but it’s probably something I’m doing wrong. Normally is. However to look at them you couldn’t tell anything is wrong as they look great. I’m just hoping that my runoff readings aren’t relevant and they stay healthy throughout the grow. Just seeing that high of a runoff ph had me freaking out. In my soil grows if runoff was out of wack problems weren’t far behind or already present. So I always kept a close eye on my runoff readings.

If you're growing in coco just adjust the pH for what is going in and forget about checking runoff pH. I've been growing in coco for years and have never once bothered checking runoff pH. Runoff pH is a waste of time. The problems people have is due to them checking the runoff pH, thinking it's not right, and then trying to adjust the runoff pH by dumping large amounts of water through the grow medium. I'm sure there are people that think they need to check runoff pH. I disagree. If what you feed is properly pH'd then you won't have any issues.
