That's not a good situation, but it's not something the government caused. You said yourself these people you're talking about make their money by selling drugs, and it's not the government's fault they're doing that. The welfare program you're talking about sounds like a state one anyway. What state do you live in, california? If so, your main problem is with your governator, not Washington DC.

Still, you can't deny that there are a lot of honest people out there who are making a lot less than $250,000 and hurting a lot more. Would you prefer the government raise their taxes instead so they have to sell drugs in order to make ends meet?

well no but I think $250K is too close to home. I mean why not just take the shit out of the super wealthy, its hard to complain if your pulling in $10million a year and up dont you think

but if you make $250k a year and are trying to become rich maybe purchase a business and send your kids to private schools and good colledges then $250K is too low, but its like he wants to pit us against each other over the money thing.

so they should tax people who make like $5 million or even $10million a year and up atleast if they complain its not out of the real need for that money

plus if they take 60% of everyone making over 10 million or say 20 milliona year, those guys would still have say 4 million and 12 million each.

so if we do that then you can remove all taxes from anyone making less than 100 or 200 k a year, and if that doesnt help them then its because they are lazy and incompitent

Actually, technically, as the Panama Canal Zone was US Territory at the time McCain does qualify as a citizen.

The unadjusted median income in California is around $35,000. I'd say that if you make seven times more than the average citizen you're fairly "rich." How much more do you have to earn than the typical citizen to be considered "rich" by you? Ten times more? Twenty? Thirty?

I have confirmed that there are indeed retarded Obama supporters, but that doesn't mean we all are. When I was campaigning for him at a community college, an old woman and a guy with Down's syndrome came up to our table and I gave the guy a poster and some stickers. He was waving the sign at everyone.

Of course, later on I saw him with a Hillary sign, so I guess his endorsement must not be very hard to get.
