Anyone ever use those phosphor free led's? I added a couple next to my qb's a few weeks ago, i might experiment with them for a bit.

naw i haven't dude. Lately i've been playing with an unknown breed. I'll try to get some pictures up next week.. Yes..i'm still playing with my cfl's and led bulbs. Also got an update with my lighting.....finally moved up with a panel HLG 100.....

Do you guys think it’s better to have a cfl pointing straight at plant or is more light emitted from the side of the bulb?
Also testing if I can upload pic of my two day old girl

Don't think it matters much if in a reflector, if not then yes the sides put out slightly more light.

Just look up remote phosphor led bulbs.

I used two feit electric a50-150r bulbs with the phosphor diffuser removed, i just wanted the added spectrum.

it was my first time trying them, and i didn't add them until week 8 of flower so i didn't get much of a chance to see an effect.

im looking forward to see what happens in veg though, did you notice any differences in vegging?
