Here's the difference between starting with the 315w led and the 600w mh. Both of these are the same strain of Hugh Altitude Baked Alaska. Notice the node compaction on the led and the stretching on the mh. The little ones all started under the led. Theys are all on 18hrs under a 1000 hps plus 7 hrs outdoor for sping sunshine. I've found doing this gets a mass of short nodes under the leds but when teansferred to the hps for a week or two on 18hrs they'll take off and stretch whilst also throwing new nodes. Meaning I get a controllable grow that is (with a little practice) easy enough to avoid light burn and maximizes my outcome in the limited space

The LRS is actually a power supply but can be wired as if it were a constant voltage driver. The voltage range is slightly adjustable so its not like a driver but can be used with certain strips or boards.

Led cobs. Diy 600 watts in 14 sq ft or so. 3 weeks from flip. With smd LEDs like lm301b's you can get closer but I run at 16" to 20". I like the spread and no hot spots. 16 cobs and 80 watts or so of 660nm. With strips you could get by with 300 to 400 watts probably in a 3x3. But diy is always best.

I had Mars 180 watt panels (5) in the area in 2013 or so. They grew. Lots of failures. I have a reflector series I keep around.
By the purpling and discolouration on the older shades you seem to have a bit of mag deficiency there. Nice looking grow though

Actually I keep it on the edge with low nitrogen. It suits me. Most grows I see are dark green. Nasty tasting.
Yep. Too much chlorophyll. Even when I smoke I don't smoke a single strain. Like tobacco a blended is always better. Smoking a morning J atm of kandy kush, baked alaska and AK mixed. It's a pretty cruisy sweet tasting smoke. The sweetness of the kush cancels the fuel taste of the ak

Strawberry honey here. I forget the breeder. Useful I think. I just grow for myself. I'm old and would imagine buying weed would get me busted. I wouldn't even know where to go look. Bible belt state.

The best cheap led light is a bunch of vesta strips on a lrs350 or similar cheap led driver. Your 3x3 is done for around 200$. It offers good efficiency and youre able to tune it to 3 separate spectrums, one being 2700k 90 cri, the meanest flowering spectrum ive seen. Also offers great spread which means you can get by with less watts
