What a waste. A plant can get noticeably infested at week 3 flower and finish out just fine without any treatment. Been there and done it. Trashing a crop is out of the questionWell in flower you can't use the good stuff. Me I would trash them.
Plants most always finish fine if infestation starts early in flower. Takes a while to get to the point of webbing and leaf death, etc. been there many times. A plant infested at week 3 can and most often will finish just fine without any treatmentI vote gas them with cO2 in a sealed container/room for 24hrs or start over, week 3 is pretty much the worst time to get hit.
Have had mites many times and the bud was just as good as when it didn’t have mites. Absolutely zero difference in taste and potency, but I understand your concerns about having dead mites it eggs in bud. Some people don’t like that at all and won’t buy it if they knowYeah well for me I can't sell crap product.
and I wouldn't sell it. I have a reputation to uphold. Some people don’t like that at all and won’t buy it if they know
That’s nice to know. Perhaps he just wants to smoke and real men don’t give a fuck about a spider mite. Shit happens and the bud is just as good. No negative health effects from mites and no added flavor. Not everyone is upholding a reputation for having bud without mites that no one would ever notice. Some people just smokeand I wouldn't sell it. I have a reputation to uphold.
Not impossible to finish a mite infested plant, I agree but still you can't spray much beyond week 3 so it doesn't get any worse than that & the speed of infestation will depend on environment & species, (e.g) equatorial spider mites are A LOT more aggressive in reproduction & foliage damage than northern/southern mites.Plants most always finish fine if infestation starts early in flower. Not necessarily i seen mites party on just a metal can like it was no big deal. One finished fine, never showed any signs of mites what so ever, (weird) others diddent fare so well and got the ax, so how long should i wait to start back up with equipment? Would it help if it was stored in cold climate for awhile? Im assuming if theres nothing for them to feed on mites and egges will eventually die???
