Sounds like a gamble. Reputable seed banks are enough of a gamble for me.

Yay. They are available in our recently opened up dispensary and sought after by California cultivators.
I got their CBD Orange Tide and there were more than six seeds in the package. I needed the bonus because I lost five during germination. According to the package and the website, we are working with elite pedigree. There is some variation in the genotype of the F1 hybrids, however; these seem like something that will be around for years. I am having a lot of fun growing them. 60-70 days until flower. Looking forward to yield.

Are you a collector or grow to consume? Do you plan on curing it for a few months/years? After curing are you going to make edibles, vapour juice or keep flower? How often do you consume, and how much?

If anyone cares, I'm growing two strains from Equilibrium now, Chem 4 Glue and Orange Burmese. Does anyone know if Equilibrium plans to keep these strains going? I looked on their website and it says both are out of stock.
I got two female Chem 4 Glue plants in my last crop. I only cloned one of them, and it was taller and spread out more than the other female, so there may be several phenos. I have some F1 seeds from these plants pollinated by a Chem 4 Glue male.
So far I like Chem 4 Glue well enough. The second female smelled like onion rings when it was drying.
I have four Orange Burmese seedlings, unsexed. Info on the Equilibrium site seems to indicate it is mostly sativa but the leaves look fat like an indica to me.

I don't know. I started to do a legal run of CBD Orange Tide but got distracted (I get bored easily). Equilibrium said that it is no longer available.

So I wonder what happens when a seed company just "gives up" or "retires" a strain. Does it become "public domain" or "open source"?

Equilibrium’s Super Silver Glue growing healthy and strong after 30 days veg and 4 days flower. Obviously got a lot of time still left, but this thing is super stanky for its size so far...

UPDATE: FWIW all four of the Burmese Orange seeds I sprouted appear to be females. The plants look nice and healthy and I just put them in the ground today. I have a night light on them to keep them vegging for a while and then I'll let them flower along with the rest of my plants.
How they turn out?

One of the first plants I grew was Orange Romulawai from Equilibrium. Only have done two more grows since, but it was the biggest plant I've grown so far. Had to top her and do some LST and she was still visible over my 6' fence. If I had let her grow she would of been well over 12'. She was stacking up nice with huge colas, then we got evacuated because of a fire and by the time we were allowed back she was covered in ash and the budworms went off with no BT. Still managed to harvest a little, smelled like spiced citrus and had a real sativa head high. Got some friends who I gave some to and they still ask about it.
