No. I don't pay any attention to that.
If I see more than a dozen of em a buzzin ... I get to dustin ... and they all go away.
I imagine that, as a top dressing, if it gets wet then it also dries out and ... when the lil bastids hatch and crawl out they bleed to death.

LOL certainly less trimming. More efficient that way, just like buying books and not comprehending them. Otherwise one might have noted that nematodes are not spelt nematoad.

I grow for a living.

I only do organic these days, but no matter what you grow in, soil, soilless, coco, a single clove of garlic buried a inch or so into a pot will keep all bugs out of that pot, and if you already have larvae or eggs in there when you water, it will kill them to. Thats from the Old Farmer's Almanac, and that remedy has been published in the Old Farmer's Almanac many times over, but it was original published in 1793.

Ya know, I'm going to test that.

But, the only way to really test it is to do it in a garden that is already infested. I got Thrips about six months ago ... it will work on them too?
You said ALL bugs?

I've never looked forward to getting bugs before ...

Thanks for the reply @curious2garden. I went with mosquito dunks since it was the only thing available here (small town home hardware). I’ve watered with it twice now. I do have one question, is it possible to use too much ?

Sorry they never worked for me. That's why I ordered some Permethrin from Amazon. Hope you eradicate them soon.

So the mosquito dunks seem as if they worked. Went to check the plants this morning and there’s no flyers. I noticed a decreased amount over the last couple days but it just feels weird to me that they go from a lot yesterday to literally none today...

Yup I dilute 29% 2 ml per litre and use to spray plants and keep pests away
