Noob here, but I've been reading a shit ton of info because I have the same aphids.. best thing I've come across is 100% Neem oil mixed with insecticide soap. 1 tsp of neem oil with 1/2 tsp of soap per qt of water. Mix in spray bottle and spray the ENTIRE plant, dirt surface and container. Good luck!

Are these aphids ? And what’s best to kill them
I have used the neem like DobbieDon did and it works. Also if you want to kill them dead you can use cayenne in a similar solution with the soap to help it stick to em. It kills pretty good. Those things are a pain to get rid of.

Just took care of a major infestation of these fuckers. I only had veg going in the room so I used malathion. One application wiped them out. I am in week 5 now and no pests.

I wouldnt use it unless you had 8-10 weeks for it to leave the plants system. Neem is part of my preventative rotation but I don’t think it works as well once an infestation starts

Doesn’t malathion stay in the plant for a lot longer? I heard flower from clones taken from a plant in veg stage sprayed with malathion will still show trace amounts of it. If I am wrong please inform because yes, malathion will kill pretty much anything

"In general, this insecticide breaks down in water, soil and air within a few weeks, but it may take anywhere from a few days to many months."

I know I would NEVER use it on cannabis at any stage of growth. It's a man made poison. People make a big deal out of chlorine in the water which is harmless but then spray pure poison on their plants. I wouldn't even use it outdoors in my vegetable garden because it's highly toxic to bee's and other beneficial insects. There are other products available and neem will generally kill aphids with one application. It does on my roses.

You have aphids. The safest & healthiest thing you could do is invest in predatory pests that are beneficial to your plants. For Aphids the BEST thing you can get are LADY BUGS. You can call around to animal food supply stores or look online for them. The cool thing about lady bugs is you don't need a lot and you can breed them yourself very easily.

The only other option you have is to throw out everything, sterilize everything and start fresh.

Lady Bugs will DESTROY Aphids and eat them like candy for ya.

Aphids are easily eliminated with a couple sprays of neem. They are not nearly as hard to eradicate as mites. You don't need poisons like malathion and you don't need to throw everything out.
