Is a hermie always a hermie?

Ive just grown 3 photos for 3 month then my extraction failed only ten min until i noticed but long enough to cook them they were 3 wk into flower the next day they sprung balls and all started to lose their lustre ive cut them back and put them on 24 hr light in the hope they revert to grow am i wasting my time will they always be hermies? Or could i grow for a few wk if they live that is then flower again ive just looked in after 24 hr and they are praying which surprised me. Is that idea a waste of time do i go with the old girls or the 4 autos ive sewn last night???

It will take 5 months to revert back and reflower
I wouldn't risk it to end up in the same exact situation
Pics would help but I would just leave them in 12/12

If you have the time maybe it could work?

Since the stress was environmental and has been handled and if you have the room for it.

While it's reverting it will go through the entire process again and you will have a few nodes to wait before you're getting 5 fingered leaves. What are you gonna do with the growth so far?

Unless you really want to save the genetics i think it would be faster to go with some new seeds or clones.

Hermies are genetic, even if you stressed plants out to the max it would still take a least a week after the stress for the male bananas to from.

Go with known good seeds like sensi seeds, bag seeds are a waste of space. Get new seeds from a trusted source.

Even stable genetics can herm when stressed enough, maybe this was just a low stress tolerant strain.

I've been growing since 1988 and I have done my best to stress out my favorite stain to make a few seeds never happened while plants that were never stressed have. If you want female seeds then use silver solution.

No because odds are the grower did not have a male in the area just a hermi that fucked up his crop with useless seeds.

Nobody said anything about making seeds?
Just like nobody said anything about bag seeds so what are you getting at here? Trying to flex knowledge? You didn't attribute any.

There's plenty of strains out there and some can handle a bit of stress some can't.
For all we know it could be a strain like gorilla glue or blue berry that are prone to hermie but everybody still buys them.

I think the only reason bags have seeds is because they didnt make the cut as medical and wound up street level..now be it from hermies or pollen..seeded weed is reputably less potent..if its hermied genetics the seeds will also produce seeded weed plants..and that is why rider said get reputable seeds..because its basically a risk if you don't know which way the seed was created..bred stress or genetics..ots lile a gamble..but hey I'm smoking all weed..seeds no seeds..whatever..but of ur selling or supplying patients you dont want the risk of bag seed offspring

Im broke and have only grown from bag seed and bagseeds are a sure thing ive gotten all fem 90% the time and ive learned without wasting money i dont have 200% profit turning an ounce i bought into 1000 seeds and a plant i can clone from the possibilities from one seed are endless. also you can try to grow the plant out better than the person did before... just saying you can get black jack or black berry and itd be the best genetics you can find but stress can cause a male and you still might not grow it out to be black like you see in pictures. Im a bagseed fan. But no bad vibes bud we all have our opinions on what we like.

Ive started some autos im gonna just put the old ones in a seperate tent under an old led on grow til these autos have run their course

i grew a few bagseeds from some good shit my dealer had over time i was able to gather a few seeds cause its usually seedless. it was awesome shit so i grew them all were fem and they are the best bud in the harvest

I love my bag seeds man they are a mystery grow and its always a surprise to get some unexpected great bud out of it... ive gotten one male from known stress that i later solved. I had a heat problem that i fixed half way through but other than that i get pretty good stuff and the only reason id want fancy genetics would be to know the average harvest weight if i was going for a 10 plant or more operation but i dont need all that.
