How do my plants look first time grower Wedding cake Cherry pie cookies crossed (Indica) and Sonny G (Sativa Sonny D and G6 crossed)

And I covered the closet with a pretty big blackout blanket and covered windows with blankets also but before cut a 4 inch hole for fresh air from outside with a carbon filter...I live in Chicago so it’s cold make sure it doesn’t drop below 68 at night tho ....keep a thermometer in there I can read from outside the air is going into the wall going into the closet. It gets so dark in there I can’t see my hand in my face ! Should Do the trick Day three of flowering will removing all those leaves stunt the growth ?

Naw..now is the time to do it..if you want to clean up more you still have time even..just a little at a time is what I was told..I didnt prune at all until a week ago and im almost five weeks in flower for the plants that I pruned..but I only removed ugly ragged leaves at the bottoms..I have one that I didn't.prune at all that's finishing but the buds are small imo..very dank and sticky tho..but not coke can size like all growers dream of getting..so I think there's some truth in pruning..but I didn't want to stress the plants so I didnt try this time..this ia my 2nd grow..my next grow ill try bigger pots and maybe one plant instead of 6-8 smaller pot plants..ive seen good results with a long veg in a big pot..with just as much yield..yours will be big too..good.luck man..sounds good if you got it dark dark it'll be fine..my mistake was I didn't stand in the room with full daylight and had a light.leak from hell and didnt know it..so make sure you check it out during daylight hours..just to be sure its really dark..or the plants won't behave the way they should..light leaks mean slow.flowering low yields and hermies.no matter the size of the veg plant..good growing man

Take out all the leaf from the bottom of your plant until the middle even all the small branche that dont reach the last feet of the top. you shoud leave 3 to 6 fan leaf on each stem from the top .
If u dont do that you will loose yiel and quality ur plant look good.

This is my first real grow and I don’t know which leaves to trim and which to leave even though you just explained it it’s still very scary for me I don’t want to cut too many or the wrong one ...

Looks good..they'll start right back to growing in no time..have they shown sex yet? Once you see their hairs or balls then you'll soon see the pistols pop out showing flower..unless theyre males then you will see no hairs and little pollen sacs developing...looks good so far though

Lol as is everything in my life but yea... I just wanted to make sure I get some good bud with no seeds it’s my first time.... I’ll definitely figure it out after this one but still wanted a decent yield as I do love the weed the seeds came from !!

When you say right below the light around 60,000 lux at top of canopy is fine right about 24 inches with 600 par viparspectra

UPDATE!!! Looking good starting to flower on both plants Sonny G is flowering better for some reason wedding cake is a month younger so maybe that is why ...Sonny was waiting for her to catch up !! Lol only pics of wedding cake for now I’ll take sonny G at 8 am lights on !! Any suggestions?? So let’s say I water Friday is it normal to have to water Monday morning and is it normal for plant to be slightly droopy after three days no water then perking right up again ? Or should I not be lettitn it get to the point where it looks sleepy before watering
