How Do You Like Your Trichomes?

So I'm growing a few strains..second grow.. and two are autos..one pheno is tall and leaning with buds..this one is short with kinda smaller dense buds..had a bud off of it last week..it's Northern Lights Auto from CropKings seeds..I smoked a bud maybe a week ago..and it was a nice creeping high..but I let her go another week..her clock is supposed to up..it doesnt matter to me if its couch or heady..just is it done?..finna quick dry another bud and see how she smokes now..the leaves are still very green..but I'm growing organic and expect that..but no amber really..so how do you guys like your trichomes? I'm seeing cloudy i think..a few half n half clear/cloudy..would you let her go longer for more amber?..I can recall the high to be couchy last week already..so what's your thoughts? There's a lot of young weed going around with local dealers..do these trichomes on these buds look mature to yall? Not sure if I've experienced mature buds..and by this being my second grow..I'm sure I cut my last plants early my first grow..I didnt have a scope..and was impatient back then..this time I want it dialed in..and on point..so what ya think? Mature? Ready? Longer? Does mature mean mostly amber typically? What do people mean when they say 20% amber? How much amber is enough to be mature?

Its a really nice smoke..I think immo chop her when her pot dries up in a few days..I just watered them last night..ive been up for hours stoned and cleaning the house..its a nice strain..dense heavy nugs..quick dry in the toaster-oven then space heater and it still was a gram to twist two skinnies..I smoked half of one and I'm feeling alright..4th plant I ever harvested in my life..I say that was a successful one..5 more in flower to go..

IMO one shoukd select a strain specific to their desired effect rather than let tri Co omes go amber to get a couch lock for example.

i say this because thc is at peak when trichs are cloudy. Ideally one woukd harvest w 100% cloudy trichs but we know that is almost impossible.
So, my preference is to harvest w as much cloudy as possible which usually ends up being about 10% clear, 80% cloudy, 10% amber

My trichs are clear at harvest and go milky, never red. And I don't pull early, I grow slow ass organic 70s-90s genes, not that progeriated hydroponic weed.

If you know a 30 year old woman who looks 70, thats not a wise old woman full of useful substance. She's been fed a diet of drugs and is unhealthy genetically speaking, and is useless to someone who wants a real sophisticated old lady, not a crackhead who looks 3 times her age. Plants are the same way. But people are picking for crackheads.

The whole concept of pretending cbn is cbd or that either are related to "indica" in any way, it's all just commercial propaganda. I like to get high, the come down effect of deteriorated chemically fried fake Cali bred weed is not getting high.

It said indica dom..but that thang was smoking like a sativa..I couldn't make myself fall asleep..I was just so bubbly and alert and very happy..I suffer from anxiety..and hate to go out the house some days..so this was a great buzz..I almost went to Wal-Mart!..I enjoyed it very.much..cant wait to get the flavor profiles right in cure and dry..so that part will be optimal too..didnt expect it to be strong as a hybrid rudralis strain..the site said 16%..it felt like 20-25%..woke up high this morning..well..afternoon lol

I have a lot of seeds from friends who are trying their hand at breeding..not bad because they're free..and my friends are working towards really face melting potencies in their final product..the seeds are some very dank genes..but lots of cross breeding mostly..I dont mind..its so much better than whatever guys are selling out here..have no idea where they get this crap..my first grow was 2 years ago..and I found it stressful because I wasn't set up right..this time I have the space and privacy..and I'm retired now..so it was more therapeutic..also the bonus is I have my own stash of home grown and I know what I am smoking..and how it was grown

It's a freak.. the whole plant is like that.. can't wait to try some :) I'm trying a new strain my seed guy made right now called Tie dye... and reading above about yours being an indica that smokes like a sativa, thats why i harvest a little early.. i HATE indica.. i will basically be asleep by 8pm if i smoke normal couch lock stuff and i don't live to sleep :)

Nice..your lights must be close for all that frost huh? I keep mine close too..my guy wants to send me unrooted clones..not sure how he could ship that..but he has some wedding cake running..and I so want a slice!! And some Og f2's..I dont even knw what that is but I want some!! Lol..its such a great hooby..love growing!
