True, finally remembered to post an update but forgot the details. I am using 2 HLG550s 28" away in an 8x4 tent with Chilled Logic pucks for side lighting at about 20". I use a Quantum PAR meter to dial the Logic pucks in so I have about 1k PAR on the canopy. Are the logic pucks used yielding more bud?
In a 4X8, I'd think those two HLG550's would be more than enough.

Ive been making enquires, seems like hes not been on any forums since about 3 months/august. As far as i know him he wouldnt be able to stop himself from posting unless he made some decision re priorities (he seems to have family that depends on him) or something grimm and freedom constraining happened...

Last thing anyone knows he was moving to south euro and on to bigger better grows. Thats all i could find, if anyone has any other lead please PpM me as theres people worried.

I am definitely getting better yields with this setup. The HLGs are probably enough and I am not running the Logic pucks at full blast. I am running them tilted on the sides so light is penetrating from an alternate angle. You can see the difference with them off, the HLGs are not getting the side areas of the tent as much as towards the center and I really pack my plants in there so it helps a lot. Additionally I can control light distance this way if a certain plant doesn't stretch as much as others, instead of just cranking all the lights and creating needless heat.

I am still running the UV bulb down the center as well, pretty happy with my light setup. I put the UV bulb on at 30 minute intervals, coming on twice per light cycle in the beginning of flower then up to 4 times toward the later half. You can see my grows on my IG @otzicore

I see you've got a trimbag. Been thinking of just buying a hamper at Walmart that's essentially the same thing and adding some fluorescent lighting egg crate cover plastic cut in a circle to fit the bottom. That's basically all it is right?
Anyways, what's your thoughts on the TrimBag?

Yeah I was in a bind, had an outdoor and indoor grow finishing at the same time, on top of work/family duties I needed a solution fast. It does work, but yeah if you have the time just make it how you described and it is the same exact thing. It doesn't take too much off, the opposite in fact, but much easier to then go over what it misses as you put it into its final containers.

so is the trimming being done by the buds rubbing against themselves, the netting at the bottom, or what really? How far up from the bottom of the bags circular stitch is the netting stitched in?
Or are the bottom stitch and the netting stitch one in the same?

So I was under the impression the grid at the bottom was doing the trimming until I used it. It might do some, but most of it is just the buds hitting each other or against the walls. The net/grid at the bottom mostly filters the trim to a pocket you can then unzip and pour out. Not sure what you mean by the stitch, the grid is maybe like 2-3 inches from the bottom of the bag. Its really just one container with a grid at the bottom to separate the trim, it has some fancy handles and zippers but thats about it. Purely a desperation purchase at the time, but hey it does work so can't knock it either.

Yah there's a Vid on the U tubes of a guy using a 5gal bucket and a lid to do it. But it didn't look great.

@Otzi the one thing I noticed though is the netting isn't a hard plastic like the light covers per say, but more like a smaller, thicker, un stretchable version of that orange construction fence netting used on construction sites and ski resorts to border the edge of the run, right?

Had a question on an idea I want to implement.
I had started a thread but no-one replied...
So, if I wanted to use LED 4ft fluorescent style tube T8 bulbs as under and INNER canopy lighting, do you think that rather than having the 2 connectors mounted at the ends of a board or a piece of sheet metal, something like that, instead do you think that using FEMALE BULLET CONNECTORS, wired and heatshrinked well to the ballast, then stuck right on to the end Bi Pins, so that you could slide the bulbs right in to the canopy would be an effective way?

I don't see any reason to have to use the tombstone end connectors for the long bulb fluoros when you could have bullet connectors go right on the ends and have it wired up all the same..

Just curious if anyone has tried something similar or has any input because I'll be trying it in a few days here.

Yeah it is a flexible plastic material. You can probably skip implementing that all together and use a grid to separate the trim outside of the bin after your done shaking it

Very smart options there.
But I found this mesh looking through the website and this would be the best option I can possibly find. 1/2" holes. Perfect. There are others like 1.25X1" & 1"X3/4". But this 1/2" square size would be juuuuuuuuuust right I reckon.
