Too much light?

I’m aware of light intensity burning leaves but my question is do plants droop if they have too much light?

They are all auto flowers and just hit 3 weeks (the big ones) And are under a 600wMH which is about 20’ away which is on 24/7 as I can’t be bothered running a heater during the dark hours (might have to).

I’m aware of the slight Ntox but can’t do anything about it as its plain potting soil so they will grow into

It’s the Orange bud which seems to be really droopy. It does vary from time to time which makes me think it’s a light issue.

Thought it was water so I let it dry out super good then watered but didn’t change a thing.

Temps are 21-25c and humidity 40-50%

looks like they were overwatered, you did the right thing. no light burn here.
That was my original thought too. But the other two bounced back after showing a little wilting and a good watering but this one just remained the same - it did perk up a little but the leaves aren’t flat to the light.

Im trying a 20/4 starting from tonight - see if she fairs better.

Mate!

Star find!

Makes sense. Obviously each strain/plant (unless a cutting) is unique so perhaps the high N is causing this.

I hope so as I’m pretty stumped as to what it could be other than light.

Her next watering I’ll leach the pot a bit more to get some of the excess N out as I believe it’s the easiest to wash out of soil.

Thanks again buddy!

I don't want to jump to conclusions due to not knowing what you use but yeah, there is a level of excess N that will make your plant sag a bit.

Excess N can temporarily damage/shrink the xylem and surrounding tissue which can slow down osmosis, coupled with heavy green leaves, can make your leaves appear saggy.

Lightmix and 10% worm castings.

I’ve used this soil before and had the same results. High N but they grew into it. Just never done autos before under 24hr lighting and first time I’m seeing issues this bad - other couple are handing it better

So in theory less photosynthesis should help as it won’t be forced to drink (take up nutes) in order to sustain itself.

We shall see

Yeah just let them grow into it, Its honestly isn't that bad, same thing happens with light feeders in ocean forest ect..

I would personally leave the plant and let it grow, backing it away too far from the light will slow down metabolism, its just a slight N tox so it should run right through it.

Deffo buddy.

Now I’ve added a night cycle will bring the light down a bitty.
