I have always done the water, water, feed routine. Water when pot is light, and water till runoff.
Frequency is determined by pot size, how well established plant is, temps etc

I always stuck with that schedule. Just upped the nutes if the plants seemed hungry. Didnt increase the frequency of the feedings

When I was in soil or cocoa I always fed(water with nutrients) 6 days a week & flushed with water only on the 7th day.

ive been using 3 gal pots of promix, i water them 6 L of water, every other day, 1.5 EC every watering.
