First, I never brewed a tea before, Do you use a compost tea brew bag? Im worried that if I brew a tea in the big bucket where I later run the pump running for automatic watering, everything will be clogged :D Or do you usually brew in another bucket? Also very interested in your receipes if you want to share!

Never used a bag. Don't see any need. Use a separate bucket and some air stones instead of pumping water for airation.

I don't get fancy, a handful of soil, a tablespoon of molasses, some earth worm castings and some shit called vita-alive that's just a bunch of amendments for tea. Two days of airation.

sounds like good to start. Do you have to replace these air stones everytime?

I have a special organic recipe for ya!! Use RO water or completely chlorine free water this is a major step. Use 8Tbs of URB and 2 Scoops of easy weed and 3tbs of grandma's molasses. Brew that for like 30 min to and HR. Then mix together separately 2 cups of earthworm casting and 1/2 cup of bros flower mix good put in in a sock clip on to your bucket and brew for 8HRs. Now use this during flower every two weeks at full concentration. Just a fruit for thought and figured I'd give you a good recipe. I only use urb and sea weed extract for my grow nothing else fully organic grow.

No need to replace them if you get good ones. I just clean mine good with hot water after each batch, and occasionally will boil them to really clean them up. Then they are like new again. I also don't use a bag and I removed the little filter in my pump so nothing gets filtered out. I use EWC or vermicompost that doesn't have bark and shit in it though usually. If I want to add compost with wood and crap like that I will put the filter back in. I'm not too worried if I ever kill a $10 or $20 pump, but so far they don't seem to mind at all. Here's a pic of the stones I use.
