Whoa that kind of advice could burn plants. PH perfect formula falls between 5.8 and 6.2 that's because all (most) plants will uptake nutrients at a place within that scale. Below 5.8 you can burn your plants above 6.2 same problem or more likely slowed or stopped growth. Thanks for getting backYour pH is supposed to be 5.5 - 5.8 in DWC.
You have no idea what you're talking about. The pH doesn't burn plants genius.....high ppm of the nute solution does. You start at around 5.5 and let the pH drift up naturally.Whoa that kind of advice could burn plants. Hey shithead if you have a problem with having a conversation about growing...go somewhere else. We are all here to learn and if that scale of yours works for you and that's your bible talking then get off my question . If you think a ph swing wont burn plants you have a lot to learn. And yes so will high nutrient levels. Why do you want to sling mud on my question if your so damn smart and are on this site share your knowledgeYou have no idea what you're talking about. If you know everything then why did you ask for advice?
Here's a chart for proper pH for hydroponics......notice it starts at 5.5.

You want to be the big guy...Beat it!..Jerk. no time for games . Being that does not make you better a growing it makes you kinda look like an ass but thank you ...again for your help...SMH oh and by the way I was asking a question ..looking for insight not judgement or criticism. Good job dude you are that guy that starts crap for no damn reason..
If you’re offering to help someone, and that someone’s understanding of the topic differs from your own, readers following along would naturally believe your intention is to help, but you swung 180 and sarcastically called him a genius. Sir, that’s not helping on any level.pH doesn't burn plants genius
Not that I owe you an explanation my friend but in post #2 I gave the OP sound advice on what his pH should be when growing in DWC. He then came back and basically accused me of not knowing what I'm talking about by telling me I have a "lot to learn" even though he's the one asking for the advice. It kind of pissed me off......hence the genius remark. He even blew off the standard hydroponic pH chart I posted by telling me: "if that scale of yours works for you and that's your bible talking, then get off my question".If you’re offering to help someone, and that someone’s understanding of the topic differs from your own, readers following along would naturally believe your intention is to help, but you swung 180 and sarcastically called him a genius. And if you take exception to the use of the word ‘burn’, then flexibly substitute in your head the correct word for the damage incorrect pH induces, and move along. It’s a crowded internet.
We all have to get along. Or as @Magron suggested, go somewhere that suits your temperament. Happy harvests, sir.
Then why are you ph'ing at 6.3 to 6.6?Below 5.8 you can burn your plants above 6.2 same problem or more likely slowed or stopped growth.
It looks like a phosphorous deficiency. If its low on the plant dont worry about it. If its high up then worry. Best thing to do is just do a water change and reset the nutes at the proper ppms and ph. If you want you can add about 50-75 ppms of phosphorous if you want. But I dont think you need to I think its a lower leaf.DWC recirculating barneys tang dream ph 6.3-6.6 using jungle juice 1 of the 3 plants having this issue and I can't figure it out.View attachment 4423826
Thanks bro i appreciate the response. I did not even consider phos. I have never thought about the ph swing either a little d looked up some "ph burned plants" u also have a good point there as well that it's a re result of the improper ph causing deficiencies.. thanks againIt looks like a phosphorous deficiency. And I dont think ph burns plants, ph effects the uptake availability of certain nutrients. ppm's burns plants. and lights and fire will burn them as well.
Hey man I dont want to beat this thing up. You are right and I think things have been taken out of context. Truth is most of us here have some level.of knowledge in growing. Ego easily gets in the way and I apologize for my part. Truth is advanced nutrients states the sweet spot to be 5.8 to 6.2 and that's whY the ph perfect line is trying g to hit for ph. Yes miss e is out if range now running 5.9 and doing better. If it helps I have learned a lot about the answers given and will draw my own conclusion . Thanks again and sorry for the mud slinging no bad intentions were meantNot that I owe you an explanation my friend but in post #2 I gave the OP sound advice on what his pH should be when growing in DWC. Based on his adolescent response and profane language, he's the one with the temperament problem my friend. I like how some people ask for advice, then dismiss it as wrong because they know better. Gimme a break.
It’s a sign of maturity that you acknowledge your role in the misunderstanding, so thanks for offering that to the group. Not that I owe you an explanation my friend but in post #2 I gave the OP sound advice on what his pH should be when growing in DWC. When you quote somebody.....at least be accurate......I never said 5.2 is the low end.You harshly told OP 5.2 is the low end, and that didn’t match the chart you posted showing 5.5.
Yes and like I said most of us grow here and want to take pride in what we have learned and what works us. That said if we take what we know as gospel we dont continue learning . Most questions I have I can answer myself I'm just looking for other ideas and perspectives. Such as that scale seemed much larger as far as high and low end. My numbers 5.8 and 6.2 range was strictly stated on the advanced nutrient website. Truth is I always tried to stay in the middle at 6ish. We have just all put a lot of time into what was said and misunderstandings. Truth is we are in a brotherhood sisterhood of nerds that love growing and the science behind it. When I talk to friends about ppm and ph they1 have no c lu ur what the hell I'm talking about and 2 dont care about it....AT ALL. So the fact that we can have a somewhat knowledgable conversation about this makes roll it up a cool place . I'm down with you guys . Inapp re deviate any knowledge I can gain ( even this bit) so ty fellas for taking the time to even get your points out and sorry we started on the wrong foot...lol its all goodIt’s a sign of maturity that you acknowledge your role in the misunderstanding, so thanks for offering that to the group.
Flexibility is key, whether with pH or each other. You harshly told OP 5.2 is the low end, and that didn’t match the chart you posted showing 5.5. He evidently used another accepted range that began at 5.8. That detail was the spark but it’s not the point.
I also would have been offended at not what you said, but how you said it.
The whole point of cannabis use is to relax us. It’s nutty how we get into arguments over little stuff, eh?
Def not P def. Looks nothing like it. You'd be chasing ur ass with that. I think you were closer with ph issue. Maybe calcium. So could be ph or several other things with cal. Sometimes see that with large ph fluctuations. So it is sorta like burn. Put alot of nutes in that can't be used in a certain ph, then when u get the ph right there is an excess and you get some thing resembling nute burn. Does happen! Thanks bro i appreciate the response. Def is a p deficiency. def not a calcium deficiency, def not a ph issue. def is from a lower leaf and it isn't an issue at all.Def not P def. Looks nothing like it. You'd be chasing ur ass with that. Nothing like I've seen. Blue/green leaves to red/purple petioles to uneven yellowing to dying tissue from the edges in. See any of that?Def is a p deficiency. def not a calcium deficiency, def not a ph issue. def is from a lower leaf and it isn't an issue at all.
So OP is the leaf from the lower part of the plant????
Dont worry about it.
No, all I see is signs of a phosphorous deficiency spots on a leafNothing like I've seen. Blue/green leaves to red/purple petioles to uneven yellowing to dying tissue from the edges in. See any of that?
