I'm liking the look of the Mars hydro tsl2000. It's 300w actual. It's just under a buck a watt. I'm considering replacing my 600w hps with two of them.

Been wanting to try this light in a 2×4. Price is definitely an eye catcher.

That duel meanwell driver in the upside down brownie pan looks *amazing*. And it's now upgraded (again) with "move driver outside easily" 2019 upgrade.

I'm very comfortable with my 600w hps/mh. Had 2 in a 4x4 closet at one point but struggled with heat. I'm thinking two of the tsl2000 would be on the money.

I browse ebay a lot and they advertise that spider farmer to death. Its 1152 301b in 3000k and 5000k, 56 deep red 660-665 and 4 ir 760nm. It dont tell you the ratio of 3000k to 5000k. Other than that it's no different than anything else on the market.

The new mars stuff looks pretty good. And dont let thin boards worry you. Most of the boards are pretty thin. And they are more in keeping with the newer style LED.

If i were not loaded with lights i would buy one to give it a go.

They will all grow cannabis...thats a fact...some just get you more at the end of the cycle.

If you have a 3 x 3 space get a 315 CMH and give it ago. Pretty great bang for the buck right there but it fits better in a square shape.

I ordered some boards from Meijiu and they work really well too. They were 180USD for 240 watts of 3k samsung with 660nm far reds. 22 dollars canadian duty when it got here but a really good value. If you are tight for cash they have the boards.

I have no idea....stressing over lumen changes from V1 to respec doesnt interest me. I think there is more to be gained by honing my skill at growing and temp and climate control than a few more lumens here or there.

An HPS can crush it if you know what you are doing...I am going to run a 1000 HPS next. I have a tent that is in a tote and a light in a box. The residual heat makes the basement more comfy !

Your right, it's kinda like the old hps days when guys would stress over bulb brands, hortilux/ushio, with most grows it probably didn't matter because unless you have every other aspect of your grow dialed in perfectly your not going to see much of a difference.

Im not sure. Thats what they claim though. I don't know if anyone is pulling 2.7. I just read Phillips is doing a 1800 635w running 2.7 for Jan 2020.
The chilLed boards came in on 2.7 /w with powersupply. They have a looooot of high eff reds though.

Im w Wheels, i think those last pesky umols can be made up for fairly easily with spectrum tweaks and and finding a solution with low hanging height but even spread. And of course the skills to use it
