Hey all, I'm just wondering if anyone has experience with this product? What pro/con list has occured after giving them a go? I am probably going to buy a few and hopefully be able to daisy chain them so I can put them all on the same timer. Any and all input would be great.

I have some experience with those. They are crazy expensive commercial grow lights, but IMO worth it.

My buddy actually went to visit the manufacturer and he bought 14 lights for flowering in a warehouse. The veg plants were 1.5 - 2ft high when they put them in and they were 6ft tall by harvest. The colas were huge!!!

If your room is dialed in just right with co2, humidity and your temps are between 80 to 85•F for max light absorption per the manufacturer’s recommendation they will not disappoint! Get a par meter too if you don’t have one already you will need it. He was also using coco coir as his grow medium and watch for nute burn. You’re plants’ metabolism will spike up.

I loaned him my Undercurrent RDWC and he moved the clones directly from the ezcloner to The undercurrent in flower and the plants were so tall with an 18 foot ceiling that he had to bend the tops to Keep them from growing into the lights.


If you’re room is dialed in you will be very very happy. I’m jealous.

Most LEDs are just rebranded chinese lights these days. Vivosun buys all their stuff from Alibaba (mostly Sinowell products) and rebrands it with a huge markup. Same with a lot of stuff from HLG. Save yourself the headache and buy direct, support the manufacturers not the greedy middlemen. Makes me laugh when people say "buy brand ABC and not that chinese garbage".... sorry to burst your bubble but most manufacturers rebrand chinese lights or have production done in china and shipped here ;)

Fluence makes good lights.
That said, you could get a timber fatty vs for a few hundred less with 300 more watts.

Hey, thanks for the detailed response man. I am already set with a par meter, so I'm stoked to put it to use, with the lights. I am currently piecing together a similar set up to CC's undercurrent. Hearing your feedback is def helping me make up my mind.

No problem buddy. One thing about those Chinese LED lights, you’ll need to get About one light per plant in order to get enough light for the UC and they don’t penetrate the canopy very far down so your tops will look great but The middle and bottom will suffer.

I'm not too worried about the bottom of it, I have some mylar film and I will def be doing a SCROG set up so hopefully, that does the trick. This information is useful though, I haven't heard about this as far as feedback goes so far.
