Gnats or Aphids?

Yup I dilute 29% 2 ml per litre and use to spray plants and keep pests away
Might put a dent in the larvae and eggs but not much more than that and coverage would have to be 100% to get that. Not really a proper pest management technique IMO.

Agree.
H2O2 is very unstable. The extra molecule of oxygen doesn't want to hang around, and it goes poof into the air and what's left is ... water.
As the droplet of solution with an already low % of extra O2 molecules flies towards the plant, it sheds that oxygen before it even hits the plant.

Her is An spray organic I also use 1litre of water,1 1/2 tblsp of baking soda,1 tblsp of canola oil and 2 tablespoons of sunlight dish soap works for me also. Overwatering is the main source of these bastards and I also put nematodes into soil they eat all the larvae and I have not had A problem in three grows.

Nematodes for the medium and yellow sticky for the flyers....I’ve effectively wiped them out..you have to get good nematodes though.
Where do you get good nematodes? How can you tell they are good? I’m interested in trying them out in my garden
Thanks

Weekly is fine for heavy infestations. It will take a little while to get the full knock down as it only works on the larvae. To help control the adults you can setup some yellow sticky traps down by the soil and up by the light. Within 7 - 10 days you shouldn't be seeing any fliers.

It's bacteria so you can use it more often without worry, but it's more costly to do so. The idea is to establish a good population of the BTI in the medium thus providing long lasting protection.

Since it's bacteria you can multiply it like with products like hydroguard, mammoth P and the like.

Should also note that making sure they are gnats and not winged root aphids is important.

I have already confirmed their fungas gnats had them gone then I started slacking but if I do it atleast once a week I should be good, and keep doing it as a preventative at 3/4 str to half

Yeah I would say that bi weekly at full strength would be the best preventative and weekly for three applications at full strength for major infestations.

Thank you very much!!
Np. What I do now is break up mosquito dunks into almost powder and throw that in my soil mix before planting. A lot of store bought soil unfortunately comes with fungus gnats for free lol. But it you treat it as soon as you buy it than it is very unlikely that the FG's can get a foothold.
