So led destroys cmh - not sure those using cmh agree, has cmh been kilked by led too now?

Green light penetrates the canopy. I never mention red and blue, or a blurple. Daylight spectrum 3000k to 3500k leds have plenty of green.The did grow on the space station with red and blue. Dont know why they didn't take a green one with um.ll You could check out The bc blonds 5.1 pound grow on youtube. Uses two 680 gamechangers. Slowly ramping up the lights going 50% power til week 3 then 75% til week 5. You want to do the math with the changes and tell me the grams per watt, and if you can match that with 2 600w or 4 315's?

Light is heat - the more light the hotter it gets.

Eventually those with leds realise their light dosent spread and saturate the room or tent which is why you need to compensate for a lesser environment.

You openly stated led destroys cmh - wasnt refering to heat though were you, 5.1 yeild, cmh hps cant do etc etc.

I asked if you could do that. Although I do question weather they can yield as much at the usage curve. Im talking 680w covering 4x8 space it through 3 weeks of flower. But only a head to head is going to settle it. My money is on the leds.

Dude you tell people to leave their weed hanging for weeks at a time in a room. I guess when your harvest is like a ounce or 2 from a 2x2 tent things are a little different then when you actually step up from your easy bake oven to growing more then 1 plant a year.

Actually I'm seeking for answers, that's why I've asked you some questions about your reasoning. You've stated you come from a scintifically background - I tell you it's not up to that standard to be grossly evasive, irrelevant counterquestions or downride ignorant of the questions asked...

Look, the visible lightrange is visible for the very fact the rays are *deflected*, but that means less heat transmitted to the deflector....if the EM rays' spectrum gets lower the light will come increasingly in wave that will dive into matter and even surpass it. At the opposite side of the spectrum light holds more energy and it will be totally absorbed by matter. That's why it heats it up so lot and there you have your heat radiation.

And your constant rumage about HPS "broad spectrum" is exactly what creates this to happen - broad means it'll also touch the invisible range that holds no usable light but increased heat emission. That's were there is a loss, something that does LED better. In summer the heat is a drag.

Laws of physics and many years of spectrum compensation - its not very full compared to other light types.

I.mean i dont want to really debate it futher, leds have backed of a lot and we all happily get along, cmh was a wide full spectrum but still not much gains and it complicated the led hype.

Everyone can say one is superior but in reality if anything was that superior we would all run it and the others would die overnight by logic

There are no answers just a complex load of science yet to be solved.

Why would there be this evolution if the best bulb and spectrum was known.

That was taken a few days before harvest. Same pic as I posted before just 1 with lights out and 1 with lights on. Show me the stress I put them through?
