ive never heard of a bulb exploding if it hasn't been wet or gotten moist somehow.
i was helping a friend in his room last week and he was misting the tops of his budding plants. I told him he was raising the humidity and opening himself up to mold attacks, but he said "aww, miracle grow in a mister wont hurt em". then he accidently sprayed the bulb and it popped. so i guess there are 2 reasons now i dont folar feed.

but a bulb shouldent explode under normal circumstances. how many streetlight bulbs do you see exploding??

Question woundering if I could use a 250w HPS for veggie and flowerin, since its the only lite I have rite now? I did pick up some floros 2day, so not sure if I should throw that in there as well.

I have like 9 seedings, in a closet that is like 20inch (W) 38' (L) about 7feet tall. Soil mix promix, some worm castings.. The seedings are maybe like 4-5days maybe more. Any tips on the HPS would be a great help, haven't done this in a long time. :) Thanks

150w HPS from Econolight, lamp and ballast $32 shipped, all you have to do is wire it (takes 5 min), and make a reflector if you want one.

$52 shipped for two of the 150w econolight hps's. There is no better deal for lights at this time.

Those 125w envirolight's cost way more and don't even put out half the lumens of just one 150w hps.

Roach, a 250hps is fine as your only light for veg and flower.
Depending on the flouro's you got maybe they're enough for a seperate veg area.
