Okay so I have just been given some Critical White clones, the guy said to me they grow big.. He grew his from seed!!

Does growing from seed produce a bigger plant then a clone???

Yea I realise all that, I've got bigger pots and a higher watt light then him.. so I would assume they should go better.

I just dont want to Veg them to big and then run out of room. Has anybody ever grown Critical White (Critical Mass - White Widow)

Yes, for critical white specifically,.. you veg for a month and then flip to flower for about 10-12 weeks

Cheers. At the moment they are about 15 inches tall and I am only growing in a 1.2 x 1.2 tent so would you suggest I flip soon?

I was being sarcastic about the month veg thing....but nobody got it..(that's how long the average veg time i), but for you, it will depend on how you train and how much room you have

Wellll?? They are going to double in size so I would say should have flipped at 12" I have grown WW and it will double at least.

it depends on the strain and how well you have your environment dialed in how much they'll stretch when you flip, i've had some barley grow six inches, and some grew a couple of feet...and that's indoors. if you're growing outside, they can literally get ten times the size they were when they "flip" themselves.

Seeds have a tap root, clones do not, this probably effects growth speed when they are young but overall, size of plant is limited by environment.
