Sorry Myke...but I gotta agree with this guy. You made all sorts of changes...and are blaming it on the least likely culprit.

Looks like Ca def to me...but not too bad.

when's the last time your ppm dropped for a few days in a row?
The week prior to moving them, was 150ppm calmag 400 food so plus tap 700,would drop 30~50 every two days.ph has alwaays been a 3 day thing.sometimes i think my ph down is actually ph up.

I read the thread a few times, like everybody else, just looking at the pics and ignoring what is being said I see a pH problem. Without knowing she about your system I'm wondering if you getting enough recirculation and if you don't have different pH at the root base compared to what you are reading in the rez. Secondly, before I spent a penny on RO filters and anything expensive I would give another nutrient mix a try. I don't know your nutes, they seem legit, but it's easier enough to check another brand.

thx, problems started when i mixed armour Si and calmag right after ea other i think.caused a brown soup.didnt notice for two days. on recovery now I hope .plants could have been on the edge of root rot also just before i moved them.messing up the mix pushed them over.
and no it wasnt the waterfalls!lollol

Ok so added ph up and dropped the ph down now? I don't think it the nutrients it's the ph. Like any low alkalinity water you need to get an adequate buffer.

If I go around 1400 ppm I get a more stable ph. But it burns the shit out of bubba. The sick plant. Other strains easily take the high ppm.

I wonder if I should give this plant it’s own res. Separate it from the others. Hmmm

Don't go 1400 that's to high. Did you add both yet? Once we get this and the rest of the stuff straight they will start drinking a lot more and you may have to lower ppm even more

Ya my cal mag is General Hydroponic. I understand it has more mag in it. Also the Ca has better buffering abilities ??
Ph 5.8 ppm 820. End of day 2.
