I'm just wondering, also very baked... I feel I'm having problems with the humidity. I actually could fix it a little with an electric heater (I don't really like to use it). The normal RH I have is 52%-64%. The plants are in the last days of 3rd week 12/12. With the heater on is around 40%-45%, what is sweet xD... I would like it even lower just because I read somewhere if you keep it around 35 45 you got better buds. I'm also using the heater while the light is off and I wanted to know what could be the problem of having warmer nights than days. (The range of temp is 21-27 C. )What are the differences between your lights on and off temps? You can try increasing the temps a bit (as long as it remains cooler than lights on by a few degrees), that would lower humidity as well, but the fan is a better first option if temps are close already.
With lighting being adequate to begin with....the effect warmer nights, as compared to day (lights on) temps, will have, is less stretch of your plants. Vice versa, having cooler nights to days will create more stretch. The greater the difference, the more it will stretch, or not stretch. Naturally, temps are cooler with lights out, and humidity should be higher as well compared to 'daytime'.I'm just wondering, also very baked... I feel I'm having problems with the humidity. Just trying to find out what others think, is my first grow and I'm doing for myself and to enjoy it but I would like everything going optimal... I hope I find you with time to answer =) I did many mistakes already and probably it will happen more times (I'm already worried about how the drying and curing will be... I really don't wanna fuck up xD)
thank for the answer blitz,With lighting being adequate to begin with....the effect warmer nights, as compared to day (lights on) temps, will have, is less stretch of your plants. It's not an issue during mid to late flower to have temps 'backwards'..meaning higher during lights out. At the initiation of flowering...warmer nights help initiate flowering, but after your stretch is done and heading into the final phases...it wont have too much of an effect. To avoid any confusion in my explanation...here is a link that may help you....https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3935576/thank for the answer blitz,
I'm not so baked now xD
and after the stretching finishes? (during bud formation time) is it too bad to have higher temp during lights off than lights on?
I have it set from 7 pm to 7 am to be the lights on, and always before to sleep the RH is also higher than in the mornings... when I wake up is around 55% - 23º (like 9 am, 2 hours after the light turns off). and while I'm here it gets warmer and lucky me if the RH goes under 50%.
I read before that it suppose to be very good to have very low (35%aprox.) RH during the last 2-3 weeks of flowering,
I got the VPD photo. I'm not so far from there xD
like I said, is my first grow so more wondering than actually knowing xD
