It was said to be sourced from BSF.
A buddy works at a commercial grow that had the "BSF membership".

What number cut is the BSF Sundae Driver cut? I only ask because the structure and the smell don't seem to match up to the #19 cut.

I would also think that my cut is different than the other posted in this thread.
Good question though, and I'm not quite sure of the answer. I don't know if this was one of the famed cuts ex jungle boys or this was a specific keeper from black sheeps seed run. What I do know is that this specific cut is the one that has won 3 high times cannabis cups and 2 core cups recently for extracts. I only have the one in flower for a tester along with several other cuts and the room just reeks of sundae driver when I enter. Its the only plant I can smell specifically when I enter the room. I plan to chop in about 20 days so I will be sure to update pics and my smoke report for those interested.
I honestly couldn't be happier with it so far in terms of vigor, structure, and stretch. It is checking all the boxes for me in terms of growth. I follow someone who runs phinest cut and I think I much prefer this one from the pics alone. More stretch with what appears to be chunkier budS. The calyx seem to swell big and the pistols almost disappear in the swollen calex where theirs was more "hairy" with red pistols more visible.

I was just just giving you a little shit. All in fun, my friend. Not defensive or offended. I enjoy the discussion and input from everyone. This really is a good unique strain that I think we should spread as much info as possible. I personally cant describe the smell, its very unique. My girl smelled it and she says they smell like the inside of a fresh pumpkin being cut open and that is very accurate after she said that to me
There is a strainly thread around but I haven't seen anyone post pics of the driver. Makes me wonder. Black sheep as tons of pics grown by several different members from all over and they very slightly but all similar and all look very nice.

I cannot verify if this cut of Sdriver I'm running is legit BSF or the JBoys #10,#12 or #19. The grower I got mine from said Black Sheep from the dispo he works at, taken with a grain...

She looks great, but doesnt look like mine. I know phenotype can change do to environment. How far along is she?
The difference i notice is that mine doesn't make a single cola like that, I know pics can be deceiving but mine is a stacker, Golf balls all the way up the stalk. Also, I know mine is only about 40 days but no fox tails at all. Mine is almost flat on the top, no cones or tails at all. That very well could change with age. Also, without dropping the nutes or temps, she is already changing to the blackish. Yours seems to be staying greener than mine .
Regardless, if shes good shes good. Keep me posted when harvesting. Im curious to see how she finishes and what you think of the smoke. And you're right JB kept 3 or 4 different cuts of her so that must tell you something. I think anything hit with the grape pie is turning out to be really sought after. Seems she is a great breeder.

Was thinking my foxtailing was due to running higher room temps and a h&g shooting powder type product but she def looks different than those shots you've posted from bsf insta feed, which look a lot different than the sundae driver #19 cuts on strainly.
What are your room conditions/lighting/co2/media/nutirents?

Sometimes foxtailing could be from high PK too.
I am running these under quantum boards at 3k and CMH with off spill from HPS, so a very mixed spectrum.. Lights off about 68, lights on 78. No co2, running promix and kelp4less bloom packs with added fulvic, humic and aminos. I'm going to hit them with PK booster / bud hardener in the next week.
