Hey, so im thinking about spider Predators to control my spider mites any one tried em? Do they help? Will they solve the problem?
First identify your pest. What variety of mites do you have? Then choose the proper predator. Lady bugs won’t do shit to a mite population. They 100% prefer aphids.

likely your best predator is Phytoseiulus persimilis. They need high humidity but will savage all stages of most mites.

I dont remember the name, but i have the yellow ones. Yeah im thinking about buying Phytoseiulus persimilis, but interested if any one tried them and are they effective as it says? Crops are still in vegetation so would be great to do it before flowering.

Got some coming on Weds.
Phytoseiulus persimilis, 2000 of them. Go big or go home!
I've used them on several occasions with very good effect.
So have my mates.
I just kicked the shite outta the mites the other day with a kill on contact spray called SB Plant Invigorator.
Spray doesn't kill the spider mite eggs though. The predators will sort the rest out. My plants are 6 weeks in flower so don't wanna spray any more. It's not instantaneous overnite cure but they definitely work.
You can also get a smaller dose of the predators a few weeks later and 're do the plants to be sure to be sure.
There are a few other spidermite predators too such as Amblyseius andersoni.
I've also used Amblyseius Cucumeris for thrip. They sorted the problem.
Good luck.
