Yeah I agree, everyone has to kinda play with that and figure out exactly how it effects them. For some people one big trip 1-3 times a year seems to have the desired effect too.One thing I would consider is the tolerance. I think a program where you take some days off between doses to preserve the desired effect without ever increasing doses.

Like pot some strains work for one but not the other phylophises do too tho are worth looking into. I found a site that has a good synopsis and will give it a read then if intrigued enough will see if I can get it from the library.If you are truly ready for your suffering to end, then I would highly recommend the book "A New Earth " by Eckhart Tolle. Saved my life, now I'm the most grateful person on Earth

KSSS are my favs too but I like all thai strains. I've been grinding them into powder and melting 50/50 dark and semi sweet chocolate and mixing them into smiley face molds I got on amazon lol. They fit 2g in each perfect which is a good trip for me and I think the chocolate makes it stronger from the alkaloids or whatever.I have felt that the anxiety is much more mindset/setting and dosage based then it is strain-based. I've grown and eaten 10+ strains of cubes over the years. While there has been some differences, its mostly seemed to be potency based, not some repeatable specific high I got from any particular strain. In a given batch of mushrooms, there can be drastic differences in potency even among the same strain.
For depression, I would consider trying micro-dosing. Only eating about .25-.3g. You shouldn't actually trip and should just get a mood enhancement. Some people will eat that a couple times a day as a microdose treatment plan. I've ground mushrooms to a powder and filled capsules so you can take them whenever you need really easily.
Some strains are much more potent like the Penis envy and Albino version. While strains like golden teachers and b+ are very common starter strains. Personally one of my favorites over the years was Koh Samui. They were potent enough and grew really well. There is a strain called blue magnolia that I'm looking forward to trying soon. Its supposed to be potent like the penis envy.
I've got some albino burmas that I"m hoping to eat tonight for the solstice. I tried a gram worth fresh last weekend and they seem like pretty standard cubes, so I'm probably gonna eat a good 3ish grams and have a fun night.
to me, dosing was a major part of the anxiety and making sure you were in a good space/headspace before even starting. I grew my own and they were much milder than any acid or such my friends were in to. Couple caps and a jay was a fun evening around the hot tub.So what are some good ones that don't induce anxiety? It to a lesser degree anyway, lol. I'm a noob to different cube varieties. I remember years ago it was like a coin flip whether or not I was going to have a good time on shrooms. I'm hoping to keep all types of grow supplies sourced here in Canada to reduce complications and there seems to be a few that have all the supplies needed other than magic spores which can be got elsewhere.Get 5 1lb bags of sterile rye from shroomsupply (or make your own via roger rabbit rye tek), make a simple still air box and get some spore syringes from r/sporetraders or expensive ones online, wipe everything down with alcohol then knock the bags up in the still air box, wait a couple weeks till they are done then do damion5050s coco coir tek and dump it all into a monotub.
Wait 10 days or so then start fruiting conditions. Enjoy your half p or so of dried shrooms. It's really not that hard especially taking the grain prep out with presterilized grain. Shroomery is a good place to learn but I've been growing them for 15yrs and have it down to lazy science lol

Very easy to grow and I was always too nervous to eat something I found out in the wild, too much chance of misidentification for my tastes.

I've done 'cid well over 1000 times and a few hundred trips on 'shrooms, peyote buttons and whatever new stuff came down the pipe out in Vancouver back in the day. Was high every day all thru junior high and wasted every weekend. Last time I did acid was the end of my first year at BCIT taking chemistry in June '88.

The wife and I took about 3 grams last Saturday and had a great night (good dose and the effects we were hoping for) These were my first grow and I was pleased with the results. Now we would like to trip again on New Years eve which will be only 10 days since our last, so do I need to increase the dosage to have the same effect? Or is 10 days in between plenty of time not to worry about it? In the past we would be lucky to do them a few times a year as they have always been hard to find for us but now that I have them on hand???? How often can we do them without really building a strong tolerance? A week is usually the minimum I try to wait at this point, 2 weeks is better, 10 days will be fine. If you wanted to eat an extra half gram it wouldn't hurt you . Usually unless I know the mushrooms are real strong I eat 3.5g if I wanna "trip". Dosing more then once a week builds tolerance pretty fast. now we're talking yeah you definitely can't take them too often or they won't do anything. spread them out at least a month apart between doses. And I've tried microdosing and in my opinion this shit doesn't work if you don't get the trip so definitely take a sufficient doseYeah I like when I can do a good therapeutic trip once every couple months or so.
