weird growth

I had a mix of beans and I was germinating them and my daughter moved them and i didn't mark them. some were auto flower some were regular. I am assuming but I may be wrong but i think this plant is an auto because how it is growing. What do you guys think? is this an auto flower plant? if you look at the pics the pot with all the perlite in it is the plant that seems to me to be growing way different than the others. i planted 20 seeds and these are all that came up.

Move your temp/humidity meter out of the light - thats not the correct air temp but the heat from light radiation and is the incorrect place for meters :-)

Perfect place for a metre, right near plant
Dude im shocked......

The way to read air temperature is to omit all other sources of heat and that includes light which has no direct effect on air but will pass pretty untouched through it and warm any surface it strikes.

This is pure science and to read correct air temps the met office use a stephenson screen as placed in direct sunlight the meter will read the energy from the sun and not just the energy from the air.

If i ever see a meter in the light i run through it as those who start deserve this simple information which is vastly overlooked.

The same happens for humidity meters but they will read lower humidity not higher when placed in the light. Fundamentally your setting temps by light distance and not the real air temperature.

Reading correct air temps in a hyper reflective tent can be near on impossible but those with good extraction and circulation can be happy that it will be inline with the outside temps and is darn near impossible to create a microclimate with a 400cfm ruck strapped to it.

What happens is peeps start placing fans on plants and upping extraction which will cool the thermometer a little but only by a factor of airspeed and not the air temperature.

Initially it seems right to place meters under lights or in canopies but i assure you it is very very incorrect.

Im good at the basics like that, let me know how far you get and ill try explain better :-)

Were do you suggest, above the light were heat rises lol

The autos will show themselves in about 35 days as it pushes thru its shorter veg period and move to sex out / preflower .... nothing to trip about at this time.

Side note : Do Not fully saturate the containers when they are this small , just a little around stalk base will be enough.

For once Kingrow1 is right. Cheap hygrometer/thermometers will read the radiant heat since it heats up the casing of the unit. Easy way is just to cover it with an index card or something.

Just knowing how to dry and cure puts you in the top five percent on this site.....
