the plants are small and yes I sterilize well with physan 20, hot water and a brush. I dot have any light covers because my borescope didn’t show any light.what size plants?

On some yes. They are brown and smelly but I get to add tea today. I’ll change them to top feed 24/7.are roots sticking out the bottom of the netpot?
the problem with shutting down a top feed system is that all the roots that are growing in the hydroton will die without being watered. i run my top feed 24.7
how tall are your netpots? On some yes
I’m using thesehow tall are your netpots?
what does the CC manual say about running the top feed?I’m using these

The faq on their website says top feeding isn’t necessary but the guy at the grow shop says too. Most likely for the reason you said. He also mentioned to use the recycle timer just not sure for how long. Should I run 24/7 while I’m cleaning up root rot with tea?what does the CC manual say about running the top feed?
i do waterfarms and the upper chamber is huge. by the time the roots hit the bottom res, the upper chamber is filled with roots. which is why i run the top feed 24/7. so as not to kill all the roots in the upper chamber.
