SEEDLING HELP

Hey everybody, seed popped out of the soil after I germinated on Monday. It is now Sunday it has been a full week and she looks like this. does anyone know what’s going on with the new set of leaves that’s growing in?? They look very odd to me. I’m growing in fox farms ocean forest mix

Any other info man? They definitely dont look good.

You know the pH? How much have you watered? I'm not sure it's the lights but you probably only need 1 of those for a single seedling.

I have other plants in there as well that a bit bigger. Do you think moving the seedling to the corner of the side that has the lower powered light would work? As well as raising ng the lights up to 30in?

What size of cups/pots are they in?

When they are newly spouted and sitting in solo cups ill just use a 10ml dropper or a whatever, they dont need much water. Ill slowly keep expanding how much they get until they start growing and are ready for wet/dry soakings.

wet/dry cycles when they start getting a little size, this is when i begin soaking the cups until runoff out the bottom....Then ill lift the cup and gauge how heavy it is when its fully saturated, then i wont water that plant again until its noticable lighter to lift. This allows the roots to do some work and explore and expand.

Like diggs said at this stage they barely need any water use a dropper or a spray bottle and lightly mist the soil once a day.

Never grown an auto, but watering a seedling in a giant pot is difficult, photo or auto.
Stepping up pot size doesnt stunt for more than a day if at all, done properly

What makes watering a seedling in a large pot difficult? I wonder if i am not doing it properly

That’s going to hinder development of roots. They much prefer to be drenched and then go searching for more with their excess energy. If you’re in a big pot I’d recommend watering a few cm’s in a circle around it but enough to get it deep. Keep widening the circle of watering around the root zone as you expect the roots are expanding.

Roots reach for moisture. Fastest i can get it to happen is by watering the pot from the bottom. Then just water minimally around the plant.
The roots will reach pretty quick. Doesnt take much.. Just enough to soak up into the plant pot from a tray container or whatever
