Help with possible nitrogen toxicity and cal/mag deficiency.

Hi guys I’m a newbie grower to using a rdwc system. Currently growing 6 wedding cake females from regular seeds. All has been going well from veg to first 2-3 weeks of flower then all of a sudden growth seems to have slowed a lot. Leaves have gone very dark green and kinda shiny looking . I started of in flower at about 1.3 ec which I believe now may of been to high anyways I carried on with that then increasing to 1.4.-15-1.6 as the weeks carried on then only realising in the last week or so that I might have a problem. I’ve brought the ec down to 1.3 now but it’s not moving up or down in the last few days so I’m abit stuck as to what to do . Ph has always been in 5.7-6.3 so I don’t think it’s anything to do with that . I’m thinking of emptying tank and running water for a day or two then a clean set of nutes ?

Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I’m hoping I can still salvage what I have?

also I started to see some marks what believed to be a cal mag deficiency after a week or so into flower so added about 0.7ml per litre of cal mag to try and fix . I wouldnt say it’s gone but not got any worse do you think I should increase the dose ?
Will put up some pics of the leaves shortly .

Thanks in advance if anyone can help me !

24hr flush with plain water.
start back on nutes at maybe 0.5 EC and see how they react. then start bumping up EC. i never went above 1.2

I was thinking that mate I’ll give that a try then . My tap water is roughly about 0.7 without nutes though . Do you think I should maybe up it above that a little ?

I wouldn't want to use tap that has half of that in it. R.O. would be a good late Christmas present to yourself.

reverse osmosis. even distilled would be better than what you have. basically water with EC close to 0
I’m with you now , I think my area I live in has very hard water . Bottled water isn’t a option as my tank holds 200+ litres . So I take these Ro systems clean water as it goes into tank ?

yep, exactly. for a bigger one, they'll get a bit pricey but it would be a good investment.

I would say it's an essential investment in your case. But understand that you will have to be adding back cal-mag because nutrients are made to work with your average tap water that already has some in it, when you go the R.O. route you have to add a little back.

I have no idea what you are growing in. If you have a pure hydro system then I would not flush since there is nothing to flush. If you have grow medium then I would not do a pure water flush either, I would just do a flush with half strength.

It’s a recirculating dwc system full water .
ive just been in there and think I’ve found out the problem have found some seeds growing in some of the calyxs in 3 of the plants .
I had a Male in there before must of took it out a day too late, , none of the sacs lookef even bear matured but one must if gone. I’m gutted think the lots pollinated . I’m guess this could be why they haven’t been taking the nutrients
