Getting ready to switch from 18/6 to 12/12

Spin your pots ...... let light hit some of the more shaded parts.
In my opinion... you should veg them out more - get a better structure... looks like you started LST.
This way you can have more tops set up before flip.

hi I’m getting ready to switch my girls into flowering and just had a question and hopefully it’s not a stupid question lol but right now they are set on 18/6 8:30pm to 2:30pm then rest from 2:30pm to 8:30 pm so the question is when I switch them over to 12/12 do I let them go 18 hours of light then switch them after the 18 hours to 12 or let them sleep for 12 hours then switch to 12 light. Or does it even matter. Hope someone understands what I’m trying to explain here lol

The plants doesn't tell time.
It's a fucking plant.
Switch anytime you want too anytime you want, it won't matter as long as they have around 12 hours of darkness.
I run my plants at 11 on and 13 off to conserve energy, and that works fine.

You can just set your new light schedule and let the flip begin.

Interruptions or changes occuring over multiple days major no no. Stresses the plants....possible herm...etc.

Had this problem recently. Something happened to my timer and wasn't turning off . I had my lights on from 8am to 8 pm , so I never checked on it after 8pm, so I didn't notice the problem until they started growing close to the lights!! But they never hermied. So many stupid things happened on this grow. It seems like something stupid happens every grow I do ...most is my fault.lol

ey guys. So I’m sorry to re use this thread. I did one outdoor grow this summer and am on my first indoor. I started wi th a 4x4 tent. 4 plants. Kept low stress training topping and have pruned a few times. My plants are super healthy and I have completely filled my screen I was thinking about begging anotjer week or two but after seeing some pics I may have vegged too long ? I have another screen to weave again. Will I come into issues with having too many buds in small areas ? My blue dream is especially monstrous with four to five bud locations in one sections. Included pics Please feel free to give any advice on switching to flower. Thanks in advance. V
PS started a 2x2 tent with a few babies vegging I be ready for the big tent once these girls flower !!! Souped for the switch !!!!

Ready? GO! I'd start 12/12 on your next dark period. When your girls start to stretch, you're going to be thinking you should have started a week earlier.

I've been through a few SCROG grows and I STILL make this mistake; waiting to fill just a few more squares. My current grow I had to double SCROG because I didn't take the stretch into full account.

You will definitely have a full tent.
Will probably have to cut some to make room. But you got a few weeks to decide which ones.

Thanks smoke and grey geek ! I actually flipped shortly after posting that. I’m a little Ofer a week in I believe and looking good so far !!! And greying .. I guess I’m basically double scrounging too at this point. Depending on the stretch. If they keep stretching I’ll have to. If there almost done than the second screen can just be nug support right ?
