Help with cleaning rdwc system .

Hi guys what do you lot use to clean your rdwc systems at the end of a cycle , my system is a iws rdwc pro it doesn’t fully empty the system which is annoying so I was gonna use a vet vac to clear out whatever is left .

is there something I should run through it whilst I scrub the pots etc . Looking for the easiest and cheapest solution as the pots can’t be taken apart?

I put a small block of 2x6 under ea site, run bleach for 6 hrs or so.I then run fresh water with a garden hose into each site.after flush fill and check ppm should be same as tap if not flush again.

I drain it and fill it with fresh water dump peroxide in and run that through it for a 2-3 days and everything comes out clean.
I usually use this mad farmer oxygenator stuff, it's a 35% peroxide, but when I'm too lazy to get that I just dump 2 of the big brown $1 bottles from walmart per 10 gallons.
Everything that was stuck on or in settles to the bottom of my buckets, most goes out when I drain it but I go back and shop vac all my sites clean. Rise with fresh water, drain, vac, and refill for next cycle.
I only use bleach on floors and surfaces.
Tools get cleaned with alcohol and rinsed with fresh water.

Ditto. Great advice. I love my 34% peroxide.
Keep in mind bleach will not totally disinfect porous surfaces.

Let reciculate a day or so,

Suck remaining out with shopvac
Allow lights to dry out remaining water
Final wiped own with diluted bleach,
