Phat is good but I don't believe that is the only filter that does the job. I have had several brands and some are good and some bad. The type of charcoal and thickness of the charcoal layer all come into effect. A large part is that you have the needed CFM required for a room / tent, both fan and filter. Do some google reviews and you will figure it out.

I just got a growbright 8" from htg with 45lbs of carbon for 130 which is the same as the can 66 for cheaper. I put a duct reducer and a 6" 450cfm ipower fan on it and it kicks ass. I got sick of fans pulling too fast and didn't want to use a speed controller so this works even better. Zero smell anywhere I'm loving it.

Phat Filters are Garbage.
Same with almost every other filter these days. I dont get it....10 years ago , i got 75lbs of carbon in a good filter for 110 bucks to my door. ipower is junk , vivosun is junk, phat and phresh , both junk.....black ops , junk. Name brand can filters still have the old heavy carbon in a 2.5" bed , so thats the only trusted one thats never really had any complaints.

Yeah crazy good deal for that much carbon. Only thing that sucked was I had to cut the reducer with tin snips to get it to fit the filter. Just two straight lines across from each other and then wrapped it in gorilla tape.

Phresh has been Wonderful for me. I have thought of trying can or can-lite.

55lbs is so fucking heavy. There's no way I could hang that. My 10"x24" Phresh was only 26lbs and I had such a hell of a time hanging it. I used way stronger rope in place of the "string" on the rope ratchets and poked 2 tiny holes in my tent ceiling for the rope to go through. Ratchets are hung from thick eyelits mounted to a wood I-Beam. But 55lbs I just dont Know...

I'd think the 6" tall boy would be a better choice but it's only 22lbs. It's $5 more but I don't know.. it's half the fan rating at 250-425 vs. 850cfm.

Here in the UK good things are said about CarboAir so I ordered one and just fitted it up on a board with the fan and rigid plastic pipe. It's very good.

By the way, I'm in the middle of drying a fair bit of reeky weed too and I can't smell a thing.

Here it is, the 125mm with very handy fixing points.
