Cldn ya run lights closer to outdoor times so they didn flower once put out say like a 14/10 or something.. Its easy to get caught up in the crap on youtube an all that maybe i gotta pull me head like old mate an just stick with the basics.

The main issue is being in it when it collapses. I’d waterproof and aim to
Replace every 5-7 anyway. what’s a 40ft worth these days 4-5k

I hire them for the big jobs I use just 20ft or 15ft ones and with decent waterproofing you will get 10 year easy. I’ve worked on a job where they buried two shipping container and half of one was exposed cut the side off and glazed it for the view. The builder gave a 10 year warranty. It’s the sides that will cave in before the top. There will be more pressure from the sides and you would need to retain it. Plus concrete pads for feet so she don’t twist. Plus a good metre deep of scoria underneath and a pit with a pump for drainage underneath that for excess water.
As for insulation doing the inside is a waste of time and money spray on insulation would be the go from the outside.

Doesn’t matter if they’re health. I’m in wardrobes so keep my shit small, mother’s included, so my clones are generally only 5-10cm long with stems 2-5mm in diameter

I set up a wardrobe for the cloning side of things but i couldn use it for a grow as theres fuk loads of gaps an the bugs went troppo in there wen lights were on. Wat did you use to seal the doors an all that.

so the plan was to insulate it first as a sort jammin room first then in a few years when shits abit friendlier on weed use it

the missus dont mind a bit of acdc, but when i do iron maiden or judas priest too loud shes leaves the building,,kinda a man cave first

You’d be better off just starting in pots and up potting a few when the roots have filled each pot before whacking them in the ground. Too much rootspace stunts growth as the plants start focusing on roots, especially if it’s a little dry or not enough nutrients.

Yeah exactly, heat is a byproduct of most grow equipment anyway. Insulation would also trap any heat you make and leave you reliant on ambient air temps and aircons in summer.

I find heating a cold area easier than getting rid of excess heat.

After my seedlin roots were just pokin threw jiffy pellets i put them into 125mm pots then once they were filling out those pots they went straight into the ground..

For myself I'd rather be waiting patiently for the in ground plants to find their legs and take off rather than use that time up potting

Insulated you would be dropping to 12c with light off. Insulated will be like the aircon being running in summer with out it, it would be like having a grow room in a fridge lights of your running a heater probably most of summer and forget leds.
I build basements/underground carparks for a living dude, well we call them rape dungeons. Got my waterproofing/caulkers ticket too been doing it 15 years.
