I was running two and then me and a mate ran 3 for ages. Dont brew with a mate- you drink more.its worth it just getting say two fermenters

Slack dogs. They’re literally selling what’s been discarded as rubbish. Should be priced to move quickly so it finds a home and doesn’t just end back up on the tip face.im a bit dirty on my tip shop (not the council guys who are fkn legends). I drop allot of stuff off to them and they wont give me anything back. Some stuff they are expensive on and wont budge.
If your making spirits no need to treat the rain water before use either.i was looking to go grain and go a Brewzilla. Would use rainwater as well. I hate bottling so if i get back into brewing i want to do it properly.
yep, but i recon it makes a bit of money, Always dollars in the things that look like there isnt.Slack dogs. They’re literally selling what’s been discarded as rubbish. Should be priced to move quickly so it finds a home and doesn’t just end back up on the tip face.
Doesn’t the cold temps from the ice cause the yeast to stall? I prefer fermenting in winter so the bloody heat doesn’t kill the yeast.with brewing
my recipe is this
the kit, say a coppers pale ale
filtered rain water is all i have so i boil it first
add to fermenter, like wort the kit
one tinny dash of the calcium powder for hardening,,
bag of ice , upto 23l
check temps add yeast
dont laugh to loud rewerb
i wasnt going to for beer either. If your making spirits no need to treat the rain water before use either.
The cleaning racks are the go. Rinse the bottles before they dry out and rinse themits worth it just getting say two fermenters
but is she good at scrubing bottles

You need something to remove the oil. Water won’t do it. Metho or terpsmetho i just use a slightly damp rag does it really have to metho
Just watch out you don’t add something that can survive the fermenting process but make the beer sour. One of the guys I know who has tank water (no town) do beer and spirits & uses RO units for the beer but not for the spirits.i wasnt going to for beer either.
Yeah old mate I know mostly kegs now. Still does bottles but that’s just for him around home or in case he wants to take 1-2 to a mates place etc. This is what i wanted to get, I think @Rewerb put me on to them. https://www.kegland.com.au/brewzilla-65l-gen-3.html fk bottles ill go kegs
havent had that happen here before but i suppose it might always be a possibility. If it happens once ill learn my lesson.Just watch out you don’t add something that can survive the fermenting process but make the beer sour.
