I have a huge 8x4 that I've divided into two tents it's one of those cheap ones, I forget the company maybe ipower. I like it tho no light leaks to speak of and in my opinion that's what's important, not the bells and whistles.
That's what I was wondering. I like the 2x4 I have so I was thinking same brand but bigger. I was curious to know what difference there was between the brands. Well the gorillas open like french doors and the summits have a window on all sides to access. If you only go through the front it’s not a big deal but on a bigger tent the side openings are really nice. I wouldn’t want to unfold gorilla doors on much bigger than the 3x3 imo. The Summit has better stitching, the pouch isn’t stitched on and can be removed or hung anywhere. I have very very minimal light holes in some stitched areas on my Gorilla but the Summit is completely sealed, the flaps around the zipper are very nice and thick. I have light leaks around the bottom zipper opening on my Gorilla, it’s very hard to get that completely sealed. There is NO vents on the sides near the top so this is an LED tent solely. There is one 6” duct in the roof and 2 larger ducts on each side floor for hydro, but that’s where I ran my ducting. And Summit has off sizes, no standard 3x3 or 4x4 as far as I know.
Thanks. I am going to check them out. Those off sizes can be of real use too. I technically grow in 4 areas. My 2 tents, my closet and my little veg box for seedlings and clones. All in the same room.....I rather just grab a larger tent that I can use differently, then having smaller tents with different uses.
Ya I really wanted a slighter larger than 4x4 tent and stumbled on them, very happy I did! Let me know if you want some photos of mine, it’s not exactly as in their site photos.
Unless I am using their site wrong, the largest they have right now is 4.5x4.5x7. I was hoping to go at least 4x8 at minimum.

I am a couple years in on my guerrilla tent and no light leaks, zipper problems etc. They are as advertised.
I wouldn't mind if I had to replace a cheap tent every few years. But if a tent is built to last, it may be an option I may consider.
Yeah, the off sizes of the GrowLab tents is what brought them to my attention as well. I have two 31"x31"71" GL tents that I've been running for a couple of years. I like them, but there are some pinholes, and a couple of the zippers are getting stuck now (that may just be due to the fact that they were in an unfinished basement though). Oops, I said I had the same brand of tent, but apparently Summit Grow Labs is not GrowLab! Apologies, I don't want to give a review of something based on something entirely different!
