seedlings in coco help

Yea I want to eventually figure how to automate the process once they start to drink more. The way my schedule at work is , I never know really what time I get out so if it needs to be watered twice or more a day I might not be available to do that? Wish there was something I could setup and then control it on my phone. What’s your setup going to look like ?

I have a question... I buffered the coco and added the perlite per the website instructions... the website is great with a lot of information but I’m not sure what to do next. Is the medium ready for planting now?

Every question about coco always directs the person to this site. Ive tried reading it but u have to have some sort of knowledge to fully understand it. I’m at the final stage I think. I prepared and buffers the coco wth cAlimagik. Do I need to do anything else to the soil after that? His video ends there so I’m assuming it’s good to go.... just want verification without experimentation if that makes sense. Thanks all..

I hear ya. Much information to digest. You are off to a good start, getting to know coco.

I buffer my coco, and use the site often, but I have never watched the video.

What are you planning?
Grow from seed? Clone? Both. Pot size/type.
Tent? Nutes. Lighting. Veg room temps. Humidity.

I have a 4x4 tent with redwood vs lights.
Trying to grow some auto seeds to start. I have some memphisto Walter white seeds and some strains from fast buds autos.

As far as temps and humidity I guess I should know more about than I do right now.

Wanted to try autos first because I felt like they would be easier. I have some ethos seeds on deck for when I have whatever errors I make worked out.

From seed, this the best I have to offer.

From 2017....

After sprouting, I put the seeds in Rapid Rooter type plugs. Then into containers with coco.

Best tip: Keep the containers small, until robust and rooted.

But.....then I hear people talk about not wanting to transplant AUTOS....must start them in final pot. Imma AUTO dummy.

If you can get clones also, they are great for learning.

I have rapid rooters also and plan on starting them there then right into 3 gallon fabric pots. I looked thru the link u attached and I’ll look thru it more but looks interesting.

I’m positive I will make mistakes but I’m hoping to limit them to ones that can be fixed hopefully. This website and others that get plugged here all the time have helped tremendously.... I can’t wait until I’m on the other side and can help out some noob like me.

Sounds good.
Nutes?
Pepare rapid rooters. Keep them at proper temps - warm never cold.

Maybe move a couple plugs into clear solo cups for the experience and comparison of root/vegetation growth.

These are clones. If I have a plant with slow or stunted growth, it often because of weak or effed up root zone.

I want only strong consistent plants going into final containers. But thats just me.

I've struggled, and I often see others struggle with tiny starter plants in huge containers.

I have the fox farm trio and also some gh products as well. I initially was gonna use he fox farm but then read some good stuff about gh products so I bought that line as well. I’m gonna germinate this week and then go right into final containers. I want to keep this as simple as possible the first round.... even if it affects the yield I’m fine with that.

As far as the rooters I bought a germinating station and heat pad for that. The germinating is he easy part it seems. Once I get them planted the real work begins ....
