Daily. Not excessive but I'll back off

Don't water all the soil either. Just near the plant for the next watering or two. Give it a few days before watering again.
Took me a while to realize I was being to crazy w the watering. Still catch myself from time to time too! Lol.Very possible you are drowning the roots and not allowing them to get proper oxygen. This also creates lockouts and a ton of other problem. Note that the damaged leaves wont recover. Look for the new growth.
It's a rookie mistake and sometimes happens to even the most experienced growers. I've always called it " loving your plant to death ".Took me a while to realize I was being to crazy w the watering. Still catch myself from time to time too! Lol.
That was my first guess. Light or nute burn. I don't have experience with HPS so I figured 2ft was decent. But that was an assumption. After looking at the picture again, I noticed the soil looked super wet for such a small plant. That led me to thinking he's drowning them too.Yeah, id back down on the watering but also that's a hot light that's CLOSE to your plants, id have it set a lot higher. like 30 inches plus. I have 2 seedlings in this stage that are thriving on a 1000watt led panel 32" above and they love the thing no stretching. And that 750HPS is a better light then what im doing so you should be fine
The 750 is fine I would just raise the light and then cool with a fan, not a small desktop fan an actual fan get some movement in there.I'll have the walls done today. I can dim to 500 as well.
