It doesnt matter if they have a chance at winning the case or not they are there to represent the defendant and to follow their instructions. When they dont agree with an instruction they say your honor my instructions are........that way the court knows its not their advice. They still get paid win or lose, so to say give them a chance at winning is wrong.what do they come down to the cells before you go to court? To give their advice and TO GET YOUR FUCKING INSTRUCTIONS. I got pinched driving the kids to school disqualified driving judge asked why was i driving? Her response was to say "i have no answer for that your honor!" Despite knowing full well the full story, so what if my past record has some length to it. Are they the judge or the lawyer who took an oath.

Sometimes its about the prosecutor not wanting to go to trial so they offer plea bargain. I was up on trying to run a cop over when he shot my tyre out,(wb 253 panel van), charge was use lethal weapon to avoid apprehension, even though i did it i pled not guilty the prosecutor came back said plea to assault police, i said yes to that and i walked home that day. I had been on remand for 3 months and got time served instead of 4-6 years for the bigger charge. Cause they followed instructions.

Our best defence laywer in town is called Richardson. He does legal aid work if its a decent case and interests him, otherwise u pay a fkton. But if facing time pay or legal aid he is the man. But like anything u need to do the hard yards first. No statement is a nice starting point.
