Fellas when scrogging one plant has anyone unintentionally created too many bud sites and resulting in many small airy buds? This is my main concern at the moment, I don't wanna over-do it.

Just prune if it looks like it’s getting too crowded, and / or do some defol before the flip and then again 2-3 weeks later. No more defol after that

You’re better off using clones for sog, same strain and pheno. Keep cuts n clones uniform.

Go back to photo period seeds.
Then clone.
I been using root it plugs.
I have a turbo kloner i think the plugs are better.
Easy to use.
Veg for however long u want.

How many tops does it have and how old is the plant?

Nah my mate has a 1400 x 1400 meter table puts 6, 600 watters over it an 1, 1000 watt and gets 6 or 7 pound.
An those buds are the most dense shit i've seen grown indoors. An the buds at the bottom are as dense as the tops.
An thats in a 3x3 meter room

He dont have the problems i have.

what chems he using but. Density isn’t the be all and end all of bud. I’d take the lightest fluffiest bud that’s grown well without pgrs than the densest rocks grown poorly with pgrs etc.

It should be fine. Just make sure you resume the same schedule.

Yeah im jyst saying eith tents u seem to have to have everything dialed in to

you looks light intensity in a room because you don’t get refraction of the walls. Yeah you get light overlap from multiple lights but that loss of intensity at the walls is the killer

Check this out 40 under 915 watts in a 4x4
I got 38 ozs

Think i ended up with 38 plants
Was my first attempt at sog to was so fast to.
1 week veg.

Not really it’s a stretch but I’m 6’1 and I made the frame sturdy so I can put weight on it and lean over

if he’s not hitting 10 pound a cycle he’s not even close to A gram/watt. I’ve seen guys pull upwards of 2grams/watt with hlg boards.

Ok mate. I tried as hlg claims, 1000watt hps replacement. It wast.
Im also not dropping another $1300 to $1500 to bump it up to 960 watts.

Added 315 cmh.
Was still shit.
I also run 600 watts in a 800x800mm tent

Marketing bullshit. 480w LED isnt even close to a 1000w replacement. Its about 6-700w HID comparable, once you take superior spread into account.

The 480w Samsung led strip kit from cutter is better than the HLG 550 (sans the deep reds), and its less than half the price. Two of them will blow the 1k HPS out the fooking sky.

I believe everything has its place. The fact your comparing leds to a hid grow that’s not even getting 1gram/watt is laughable though. Hell I still run hids in winter when it makes sense to but I’d be struggling to get a gram/watt with them in my space where as the leds have yet to get less then that. Just because you don’t want to take the time and effort to get them running right doesn’t make them shit. Hell you can’t even get the hids running right
