Currently in 3rd week of flower of first ever dwc grow, plants looking really! Only issue i am having now thats boggling me is my room temps. Currently have air cooled lights into carbon filter into exhaust fan and into floor and outside. But when lights are off struggling to keep room temps up above 14 degrees i do have a oil filled rad in there but i think warm is is just getting sucked out. Should i get an inlet fan or will that just make it colder. Cheers for advice in advance

You can get a variac thermostatic speed controller for your extraction, once it goes down to a certain temp the speed of the fan will decrease to minimum or you can get a inkbird temp controller and hook up your heater to it, again you set the temp you want and once it goes under it, it will turn on the heater to heat it to the temp you set.

cheers mate. Think i would have to invest in a bigger heater as i only have a 500w oil rad and i dont think it is quite powerful enough to heat the entire room as its always on max even. Will the fan speed controller stop the fam sucking out so much warm air i take it you’re saying? Also would you still get a inlet fan? Cheers

You dont need an intake fan, just passive intake, basically use the off cuts from your ducting like this on both sides.

Yeah the speed controller will slow down the extractor fan so it wont pull out so much air, but you will need a thermostatic variac one which can be quite costly, the cheap speed controllers suck and will ruin the life of the fan
