For the soil growers.... I mix 4 gallons at a time. I weigh out all the MC , Sweet candy , kelp and BE (during flower).. throw it all in a container/bucket with 4 gallons of distilled water.. then i put an old water circulator (aquarium powerhead) i had from my aquarium leftovers.. plug it in and throw it in the container/bucket.. go have a smoke and a beer.. come back 30 mins later and and the MC and everything is totally gone not once shaking or stiring anything.. PH the solution, then pour back into the one gallon water jugs.. rinse and repeat if needed.. I am in promix and EW castings mix in a 5x5 so this works great for me.. 4 grams MC per/gal.. 1 gram SC per/gal.. and .4 of a gram kelp concentrate per/gal.. during flower add 1 gram of BE per/gal.. Peace:peace:

When flipping to 12/12.. i have MC, epson, and BE in coco. Anyone reducing MC and increasing epson and BE (bud explosion)? Trying to reduce the need for too much N. So far no complaints going with MC and epson in veg. I do notice latest batch of MC requires more to bring ppm upwards..plants don't mind.

I mix ratios 64% of MC and 36% of BE for flowering in a glass jar. 100% MC in veg. BE has higher ppm/EC value per gram than MC.

So i still have half a bucket of the v1 and its worked well in veg, but I was just looking at ordering a new bag for flower.
I knew there was a v2 but I see there's also a newer version and im about a year behind.
Anyone used this new version under LEDs? Still have to use calmag or es?
And it looks like people are still pulling it in favor of more of the bud explosion, should I grab another bag of that too?

I'm far from a seasoned grower....but I've been using the V2 under a mix of COB and regular LED (Aglex lights) for a few grows. This grow I have been adding CalMg (GH) to every water and feeding at 5ml/G using RO water. I'll probably cut back to about 2-3ml/G in later flower. I also add epsom salt once a week usually from late veg to late flower.
The first grow I ran into issues with ph. Next grow ran into some more issues that looked like mag and phosphorus def.

This grow I added the above mentioned Calmg/epsom schedule and going into week 6 flower....everything looks great. No yellowing, curling leaves, or crispy edges anywhere.
I also use their Bud Explosion and Sweet Candy.
Anyway. Just thought I'd throw that out there but hopefully you'll get some responses from more experienced growers than me.

I prefer to use MKP vs GLNs BE.
The newest formula has a little more cal and mag, and has been reformulated. If using coco may need additional. Excess K is common in coco, especially when using additives that raise K. (Sweet candy for example)

Is there anything in Mega Crops formula that would react negatively with chlorine, affecting pH? I'm wondering if the organic amino acid chelation will tolerate this? Do anyone run Mega Crop with Pool Shock (Calcium hypochlorite)?
Hope this can be of some help.

oh sorry, i do rdwc with 80ppm tap water.
nutrient knowledge is the area im really lacking on. I went with MC to just throw it in while I learned the rest of the stuff. Now i want to dial this in better.
Just starting to get a decent grasp. You prefer the MKP because MC has a lot of K and we mostly need more P in flower right?
My flower experience with V1 in rdwc so far is that I have too much N and lacked cal/mag. So it looks like the GLN calmag is a no.
I have some calimagic down on the shelf, hadnt used epsom. Now I have a better understanding of why people use that + epsom.
I dont think I have been pulling enough MC for the BE. I think I was adding the recommended BE first then the MC to get to my desired ppm. Im honestly not sure lol. I have a shit memory and played around with mostly vegging stuff last year.

Correct on the mkp. It has higher K to P ratio.

The calimagic gives the most ca with the least N. GLNs calmag is loaded with N.

You may not need any extra ca in rdwc.

In canada..there is a company that just provided dry soluable nutes you could buy in most box stores..called plant-prod.. the HQ is in leamington ontario where big greenhouses of weed is and they have added to their product line called plant-prod MJ. Interesting items but not exactly jacks or MC. but it will be cheap nutes.. no CA or Mag so cal-nit and epsom needed.. the finsher prduct looks ok..i wonder what product could be close to jack 3-2-1.
Disclaimer..i do not work for them..

MC talked about jack equivalent 2 part in new year..overgrow site..
