Some General Advice Needed

Hello everyone.

I'm new to forums as well as cannibas cultivating and was hoping to get some feedback on the appearance of my plant. (This is also my first one).

I'm currently growing the strain Chocolope from seed. After doing research, I realized my plant had nutrient burn from my own ignorance. I have tried my best to correct this issue; however, I'm not sure if the plant looks as healthy as it should. Any feedback is welcome, and I appreciate the help!received_1427072544127347.jpeg

Can you give some information on your grow? Such as temps, nutrients, watering schedule. The better detail, the easier it will help to get you on the right path. Also, what size container is she in?

You really shouldn't be using much nutrients when they are that small. Use a bluelab ppm meter so you know exactly how much every time, and use 1/2 or even 1/4 strength grow (400-600ppm max for clones, 800-1200ppm Max for adult plants). And 400 ppm minimum of CalMag, can't really give them too much of that.

What did u do to correct?

I keep the grow tent around 70-73°F; I am using a FoxFarm Liquid Plant Food mix (2tbs/gl); watering is when the dirt starts to dry; I currently have her in a 5gl PVC bucket; I have her on a 24hr light cycle with a 600watt equivalent LED grow light.

One of my issues (which I am overly aware of) was my choice in soil. I'm embarrassed to admit that I used a Miracle Grow mixture (I got excited and bought the soil without doing research). I have since learned that that could cause issues!

In terms of correction, I did research on overwatering/under watering. In addition to that, I've paid more attention to what nutrients my plant is getting. I also was over feeding the plant, so I used regular purified/filtered water to flush it out a bit.

My nutrient feeding was an issue definitely. I've reduced my nutrient feeding. Also, I do need to invest in a PPM meter. I'm unaware of the proper pH and PPM so this helps me out a lot. Thank you!

Due to this being my first grow, I made this mistake for sure. I was worried it wasn't getting enough water, but realized that it was getting too much.
It's crazy , I'm ocd and I am still after years of doing this I'm telling myself to wait!

I feel that! I've grown to be really into this, so when I start to worry about my plants dying, I get worried and want to water them and take care of them! I definitely need to give it more time in between watering cycles.

I have the liquid TRIO of Fox Farm Nutes......no 2 tablespoons/ gallon of anything is recommended. What IS recommended use half, I think its less then 2 teaspoons per gallon.
