To Remo Or Not To Remo

I got a sample pack of the whole line from local hydro place. It works fine just like everything else. Idk how much it is though so idk if it’s worth buying. The bloom part looks radioactive which is pretty dang neat

Ya I’m gonna use the shit I bought but I’m gonna keep using the powder GH. I’ve had almost no problems my first ever two grows. I mean nothing. Good product. These are born and raised on nothing except GH maxibloom. Maxigrow. Calimagic. Florablend. Floranectar. Flora micro. They are about a week from harvest. They are fat. And smell awesome. No dead anything yet at day 54. I just started flushing them with just pH balanced water tonight.

I have used only GH MaxiGrow/MaxiBloom with Calmag & pH+ for years, but last year I received 2 "Technaflora" sample starter kits for free at out Cannabis trade show, which I'm currently using with my hempy grow....they appear to be doing well but time will tell how well.

I like that they are pH balance, so I never have to adjust the pH, but a pain in the butt to measure the different nutes...below are the bottles from just one kit.

I'm a bit ticked off with GH as they changed the formula for MaxiBloom 3 times now but never stated this on the packaging or website.
The original formula is on the left, version 2 on the right

Then last year they changed again....version 3 looks like kool-aid but does seem to mix up better.

PS: I would use an old blender to mix the nutes, work so much more efficient than the shake method

Anyhow...I also received a free kit of "Diablo" nutes which I may try on my next grow but once again a shit load of nutes to measure

I just buy the dry salts and add water for a fraction of the cost. Cannabis specific nutrients are a marketing scam to begin with. Cannabis is just another plant.
Learn how to mix your own, you dont have to worry which nute line. I've used miraclegrow in my mix before or whatever is available.

Once you have the NPK where you want it to be (according to your formula), add...
epsom and calmag (for sulfur, calcium, and magnesium)
kelp (for vitamins)
silica
other additives (alfaalfa, aloe) for growth hormones
Although I think I agree with both of you, I would have no idea where to start, what to buy and what ratio.
So until I will get smarter, I will just buy nutrients from the shelf.

My two cents worth is to stay with powders. I use Jacks 321 formula but whichever powders you use will be effective and a heck of a lot more economical than the premixed liquids. I also experiment a little with no till growing but for now it's more of a science project/labor of love.

Ive been using TechNaFlora for 6 yrs. Great results. Outstanding yields, color + terps.
Simply follow the Chart.
Depending on media you can feed, water, feed .
Root66 is not a normal additive & either is B-1 Green. So its not that many bottles & allot cheaper then the expensive nutes that could not keep up IMO.
Might not be the best under leds depending on the strain though. Found i needed Epsom.

Just started on Jacks.
So do you mix the Jacks in a small amount of hot water so to dissolve?
I find it necessary to do with the Epsom & separately, the Cal-Nit (little balls).
Have a large amount of Veg/Bloom left over from a trail run. Wasn't to happy with it. But, i have a decent amount of V/B, LIFE left. Wonder how that would do as an additive to the Jacks 321. Any thoughts? I add Floralicious Plus once a week as is.

I mix Jacks in separate solo cups, lukewarm water, and then add it to my water bucket. The calcium and epsom salts dissolve fairly quickly but the 5-12-26 takes more time. I start about 10 minutes before watering and walk by every couple of minutes with a chopstick and stir it up. I also add the same amount of powdered fulvic acid as the epsom salts and a mycorrhizal innoculant. It has worked really well for me and I haven't checked my ph since starting the 321. Everybody seems healthy and happy so far. If it was me I might follow the 321 program and maybe add your other nutrients to one plant and see if it's beneficial or detrimental.
